Ooty is a town, and the district capital of the Nilgiris district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 80 km north of Coimbatore. It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. Originally occupied by the Todas, the area came under the rule of the East India Company at the end of the 18th century. Today, the town's economy is based on tourism and agriculture, along with manufacture of medicines and photographic film. The town is connected to the rest of India by road and rail, and its historic sites and natural beauty attract tourists . Ooty generally features pleasantly mild conditions throughout the year. However, nighttime in the months of January and February is typically cold. The rainy season in Ooty is generally very cool and windy with high humidity

Day 1 Arrival At Coimbatore | Proceed To Ooty

On arrival at Coimbatore airport,and proceed to Ooty.
Upon arrival in Ooty, check into the hotel and spend some time at leisure. You may go to visit the local market in the evening (on your own)
Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Ooty | Doddabetta Peak, Botanical Gardens

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Ooty. Visit Doddabetta peak, Botanical Garden. Later, visit Charing Cross - a local market. Enjoy local food / cuisine at a good restaurant (personal expense). After shopping & Lunch, visit Tea Museum and enjoy boating at the Ooty Lake.
In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure
Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Departure To Coimbatore

Checkout
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Coimbatore. Catch your flight for your onward destination.
