Package Overview

Our West Papua birding tour covers the western part of the New Guinea (used to be called Irian Jaya). You will be guided to the best spots to see the beautiful species of birds in West Papua, including the famous Birds of Paradise. West Papua has more than 678 recorded bird species, contributes around 44% of all Indonesian's birds total. It is also the second place on earth which inherits the second largest number of Birds Of Paradise. From all 43 species of this amazing birds of paradise, which are only distributed from eastern Australia to New Guinea, west to the north Moluccas, 28 species can be seen at West Papua areas, with 5 species of them are endemic to this region. All our itinerary component is flexible and can be modified to suit your interest and preference. Our standard is usually using 3 star hotel with standard AC transportation, but if you wish to have higher standard of accommodation and transportation, we are more than happy to provide the suggestion except in some remote area where only available standard transportation and non star hotel for example in Borneo, and Papua.
