Day 1

Arrival in Chennai | Drive to Pondicherry

Upon your arrival at the Chennai airport or railway station, meet our representative and drive to Pondicherry.

Also known as Puducherry, this former colony of France is famed for its unique culture, pretty beaches and colonial architecture. With the motto, ‘Give time a break’, Pondicherry makes it clear to all that it has ample of serenity to offer. The French-influenced lifestyle of this small coastal city is what mainly attracts tourists , and adding to its old-world charm is the laid-back attitude of locals.

Covering a distance of around 170 km, reach your destination and check-in at the hotel.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure and bask in the soothing environment of Pondicherry. Later, retire to your room in a joyful mood and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2

Sightseeing Tour

In morning, get ready for an invigorating day.

Head towards Aurobindo Ashram, known for specialising in Internal Yoga and spiritual realisation. Here, you can learn more about the life of its founders, Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, his chief disciple. Established in 1926, this place has a mesmerising aura, which lures peace lovers. You can visit the library and art gallery to get more information about the Ashram and its founders, and learn ways of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Later in the afternoon, you may visit Auroville township, known for its innovative outlook that promotes universal living and believes in the motto, ‘Unity in diversity’. People from any part of the world can live here in peace and practise their culture independently. Don’t miss the intriguing Matrimandir, at its centre which is renowned for its innovative architectural design.

If you want to relax, you may visit the beautiful sand beaches and also enjoy the resplendent sunset over the sparkling waters.

Later, return to the hotel for a sound sleep in your room.

Departure from Pondicherry

Check-out from the hotel and drive towards Chennai to continue your onward journey. Tour Ends.

My trip to Rameshwaram from Kalpana holidays was amazing or even memorable because he toured every place very well and made me tour every place. Wherever he booked the hotel, it was very good or clean and there was no problem, after him Senthil (DRIVER) had such a good nature that he couldn\'t even find a place to mingle with us. Or show it to me or keep it in mind so that I never forget it or where will be my trip in the future also I will book my trip from Kalpana holidays.

car and driver was excellent . tour schedule advised was appropriate. hotel at Madurai and Rameshwaram was quite good. but hotel at Kanyakumari was below average , nothing was proper including room, toiletries,towels and breakfast was below average. Kovalam hotel was so-so. we have ask for 4 star property but these two places were horrible. Kanyakumari hotel was like a cheap class hotel.
