Pharping is also Known for Many Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries Nestled among the Picturesque Hills Around the Town. Today's Excursion Will Take Us to Two Ancient Newari Villages - Bungamati and Kokhana with Traditional Life Preserved from Centuries Ago. Bungamati Village is Known for Woodcarvings and Sculptures and Kokhana for Excellent Mustard Oil. We Will Walk Through the Narrow Streets and Squares Full of Architectural Delights and History. After Lunch We Make a Visit to a Sleeping Vishnu Temple Located Not Far from the Lodge.

After Breakfast We Walk On the Trails of the Shivapuri National Park. as We Gradually Climb Atop of the Hills, An Incredible Panorama of the City of Kathmandu Opens Before Our Eyes. the Shivapuri National Park Covers the Northern Hills Surrounding the Kathmandu Valley with Its Highest Pick At 8930 Ft (2722 M). It is Possible to Spot Many Species of Birds and Rhesus Monkeys Foraging the Trees Along with Many Orchids. the Culmination of the Hike is a Visit to Nagigumba Nunnery and Monastery. After Lunch, We Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square Situated in the Heart of the City. the Kings of Nepal Were Crowned Here. this Historic Place Has a Multitude of Old Temples and Shrines. After Spending Some Time Photographing the Square We Walk Back to Our Hotel Through the Old Market.
