Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Munnar : Cochin Airport to Munnar

  Arrival at Cochin. Then Proceed to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. On the way visit the very famous Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check in at Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar Hotel.

• Day 2 : Munnar Sightseeing

  After breakfast Proceed to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Afternoon visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars (Rajamala is closed from Feb 1st to Mar 31st, 2021). After that Evening return back to Hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar Hotel.

• Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady

  After Breakfast proceed to Periyar Lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra) also enjoy Elephant ride at Periyar. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. You can also enjoy Murikkady plantation tour covering tea, coffee,
  cardamom, pepper, cinnamon etc. Overnight Stay at Thekkady Hotel.

• Day 4 : Thekkady – Alleppey

  Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. By noon check in at the houseboat.
  Do a cruise through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will
  witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries.
  Dinner and Overnight stay at Houseboat.
  Description:
  Houseboats are huge, slow moving exotic boats used for leisure trips. They are
  the remodelled version of kettuvallams of olden times which were used to carry
  tons of rice and spices. The present day house boat is a private boat with fully
  furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen, dining area and
  private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters.
  The houseboat check in time is 12 noon and the cruise and stay will be till next
  day 9 am. During the cruise you will witness a full range of lives and activities
  and some mind boggling seeneries. The menu in the houseboat is fixed with
  different fixed menu options for Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians Overnight
  stay at Houseboat Hotel.

  Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin International Airport for return journey.
