Shivpuri to Rishikesh River Rafting
Shivpuri literally translates to the abode of Lord Shiva. It is the starting point of the rafting course and is located at a stretch of 16 kilometers from the city of Rishikesh. Shivpuri sees a lot of tourist activity day-in and day-out courtesy its significance as the most popular starting point.

This point serves as the ideal launch-pad for your water rafting adventure. Rafting from Shivpuri till LaxmanJhula involves a 16 kilometer stretch covering some of the most enticing Grade III and III+ rapids in a little close to three hours. This trip encompasses rapids like return to sender, golf course, roller coaster, club house, double trouble etc. During the course of your rafting endeavor you will also come across many Ghats, temples and ashrams. It would take approximately 3 hours to complete the expedition.
The ideal season in Shivpuri commences in October and ends in mid June. Shivpuri is ideal for non-swimmers as there are several water patches/recovery pools after the major rapids ensuring your safety even in the case of the raft flipping over. You can enjoy rafting in groups of people over the age of 14 years including families, college groups, corporate groups etc. Shivpuri’s biggest pull is the substantial negation of the risk factor usually involved in the other starting points which is why families prefer it!

Day 1

Rishikesh

Welcome to the holy city of Rishikesh in the morning. Check in at designated beach camps. Later enjoy tasty hot buffet lunch. After having the lunch, proceed for be ready for adventure activities like Rock Climbing / Rappelling. After carrying out the adventure activities you can relax for sometime or can indulge yourself in camp activities or games like cricket, badminton and volleyball. Tea and snacks will be served in the evening. Later Dinner and relaxing overnight stay at the camp.

Rishikesh

Early morning, you can have a cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast. Leave the camp and start river rafting from Shivpuri to Ram JhulaRishikesh. Experience rafting through the rowdy rapids like the Initiation, Double Trouble and Hilton. Besides river rafting, you also can also carry out body surfing and cliff jumping. Float past the beautiful temples, ashrams and Ghats nestled across the pious river Ganga. Arrive Rishikesh with lifelong memories to cherish forever.
