Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Bhandardara

  Arrival at Bhandardara. Bhandardara (2500+ ft asl) is a lakeside getaway near Igatpuri and visited all round the year for its cut off location and salibrious climate. Evening boating in Lake Arthur.

• Day 2 : Shirdi Excursion

  Shirdi Excursion or walking, trekking around Bhandardara Guests have option to take an Excursion to Shirdi (100 kms) or Visit nearby waterfall (10 kms). Bhandardara provides plenty of opportunity for small treks and hikes for adventure lovers. The most interesting and exciting trek is the small trek to Ratangad fort; to reach Ratangad fort one should take the boat over the small lake near the village Ratanwadi. Ratanwadi is known for its scenic boat rides. Ratangad is an interesting fortress, situated at the edge of ghats with numerous water cisterns and caves.

• Day 3 : Proceed to Saputara.

  Enroute visit Trymbakeshwar Temple and Saptashrungi Temple. Evening Boatride in Lake or visit Sunset point. Proceed to Saputara. Saputara (2500+ ft asl - 160 kms - 4 hours) is a renowned lakeside hill station bordering Maharashtra and Gujarat and visited all round the year for its Salibrious climate. Enroute visit Trymbakeshwar Temple (One of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples of Lord Shiva) and Saptashrungi Temple (One of the Shaktipeetha Temples). Reach Saputara by late afternoon. Evening Boatride in Saputara Lake or visit Sunset point.

• Day 4 :  Sightseeing in and around Saputara.

  Possible Excursion to Gira Falls in Monsoon. Cable Car Ride in Evening. Sightseeing in and around Saputara such as Hatghad Fort (6 kms). Other local visit options in Saputara are not a must do. Possible Excursion to Gira Falls in Monsoon (49 kms). Cable Car Ride in late afternoon / Evening.

• Day 5 : Departure

  Depart for onward Journey.
