Saurkundi pass trek is a beautiful trek in Himachal that passes through small Himalayan hamlet, beautiful villages, sky touching snowcapped peaks. The magic of Saurkundi pass trek is that you can experience ever changing landscape of Himalaya rapidly. This is probably the best trek in Himachal to experience the culture of Himalayan villages, local lifestyle and magnificent views. With an altitude of 13000 feet the Saur kund, the beautiful lake of Saur Kund will wash way all your negativity and fill your mind with the pure Himalayan natural beauty.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Manali – Shangchar – Thoti

Thoti Thāch is upland near Manali situated between Bulti Huwe and Porang Dogri. From Manali we will start our trek to Thoti. The route is very serene and you will cross several small meadows, high standing deodar and pine forests and reach to Thoti via Sangchar

Activities : Camping , Hill Stations & Valleys , Lakes & Rivers , Trekking , Mountaineering

Day 2

Thoti – Maylee

Today's trek is one of the toughest treks in our schedule. Today we will start our trek from the middle of the jungle and ends it at the plains of Maylee thach. This is one of the most beautiful sites of Saurkundi trek. You will witness the snow capped peaks all around you and camp will be on the snow. Sun set and sunrise will be the most beautiful sights in this camp.

Day 3

Maylee – Sarkundi Pass – Maylee

This day is the most critical day of our trek; because we will be crossing the Sarkundi pass today. We will start our journey little bit early as compare to other days. Because in noon it is not easy to walk on the snow. We will be top on the peak today and could see the many famous peaks from there.
After Saurkundi pass we will have an amazing experience of sliding on the ice of almost 1 KM. Today our stay will be at Maylee

Day 4

Maylee Thach – Longa

Today trek seems to be easy as we have to descend only, but take care of your feet properly because chances of foot injury are high today. Today camp will be in the middle of Jungle.

Day 5

Longa – kalath – Manali

Today is the last day of trekking and we have to trek to Kalath. Kalath is famous for the hot water springs. From here arrangements would be made to drop participants to the bus stand for their onward journey.

Cost of travel to and from Manali from your city
Cost of any form of insurance (Personal/Baggage/Medical)
Cost of rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc.
Any expenses of purely personal nature like laundry, phone/Fax calls, tips to drivers, guides, any beverages.
Any expenses that arise due to change in itinerary and increase in no. of days because of natural forces like landslides, weather, roadblocks, flight cancellations, sickness etc.
Cost of any optional activity we offer, like paragliding, angling, rafting etc.
Porterage for personal bags @INR. 600 per day (10 kg bag per person)

50% refund on cancellations between 15 to 29 days
No refund on cancellation less than 14 days

Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.
Retention Amount varies as per the number of days left before your package start date.
Refund will be made within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation.
