Day 1

Arrival Day Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey. Arrive in Istanbul Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. (25km) After check into the hotel, meet at the lobby for welcome and info cocktail.

Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2

Istanbul

After breakfast Our journey begins in Istanbul, the only city in the world situated on two continents. We visit the Topkapi Palace, St. Sophia, The Blue Mosque and Hippodrome, where chariot races and the Byzantine riots took place.

Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3

Smyrna - Pergamon

Transfer from hotel to Istanbul airport for flight to Izmir. Arrival in Izmir. Drive to ancient Smyrna, was the second one of the seven Christian churches in Asia Minor to which St. John the Divine wrote (Revelation l-11). In the afternoon proceed to Thyatira, another one of the Seven Churches. See the remains of a Basilica and other ruins from the Roman Period.

Day 4

Pergamon

Pergamon (Bergama). Visit the Acropolis with its pagan temples and Altar of Zeus. Continue to the healing center, Aesculapius.

Day 5

Sardis - Philadelphia - Pamukkale

After breakfast depart for Sardes, another one of the Seven Churches mentioned by St. John. Continue to Philadelphia to, another one of the Christian congregations, and a city built in 2 BC by King Eumenos. Continue to Pamukkale (Hierapolis). Watch the sunset over the petrified waterfalls.

Day 6

Laodicea - Ephesus

Visit Hierapolis and then Laodicea before continuing to Ephesus. See the final abode of the Virgin Mary where she spent her last years. Tour through ancient Ephesus to see the old synagogue, the theatre where St. Paul preached (Acts 10), the Library of Celsus and other sights.

Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 7

Istanbul

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Istanbul. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free time in Grand Bazaar in the afternoon and Overnight in Istanbul.

Istanbul - End Of Tour

Cengo Travel accepts bookings subject to the following conditions. A 'Client' is all persons named on the booking form intending to travel with Cengo Travel A 'Product' is any service sold by Cengo Travel All Clients will be deemed to have read, understood & accepted all Booking Conditions. To confirm a booking Cengo Travel requires that the agent has taken full payment of all monies due. A contract between the Client & Cengo Travel comes into existence when Cengo Travel has confirmed the booking in writing & issued a Confirmation. The person signing the booking form (that incorporates these terms & conditions) warrants that s/he has full authority to do so on behalf of all persons whose names appear thereon, & confirms that all such persons are fully aware of & understand these terms & conditions. The said contract, including all matters rising from it, is subject to Turkish Law & the exclusive jurisdiction of the Turkish Courts. No employees or representatives of Cengo Travel has any right to alter, vary or waive any of these terms & conditions, not to undertake any liability whatsoever on behalf of Cengo Travel, unless such be in writing & signed by the Director of Cengo Travel. Cengo Travel reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion without further explanation.

Amendments & Cancellations by Clients

Clients can cancel at any time. The cancellation will be effected at the time that Cengo Travel receives a written request from the Client & the following cancellation charges will apply. Prior to 6 weeks of departure, 10% of the Net Product cost. Within 6 weeks until 4 weeks 25% of the net product cost. Within 4 weeks until 2 weeks 30% of the Net Product cost. Within 2 weeks or less no refund is given. No refund is given for a partially used Product. After the booking has been confirmed proposed amendments must be advised by 'the Lead Client' & will incur an administration fee of equivalent to EURO 30.00 except for the first change that will incur no fee. No requested change can be guaranteed. If any number of the party is prevented from traveling because of death, injury or serious illness of the client, close relative or friend, redundancy or jury service, it may be possible to transfer the booking to another suitable person or departure date or tour of similar standard & cost provided that written notice is confirmed by Cengo Travel.If a refund is payable by Cengo Travel to the Client, the refund amount will be calculated according to the conditions set out in Section 2.1 & with consideration of evidence of exceptional circumstances. Cengo Travel will not pay fees charged to the Client by the Client's bank for processing the credited amount. Information & Pricing Policy. Your reservation request will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit which is 25% of the total tour rate. Please note that travel arrangements are not confirmed until you receive our written confirmation. The balance of the total amount is due in 30 days prior to the tour date unless otherwise specified at time of booking. Hotel / Airline bookings & tour reservations received within 60 days to departure require full payment. Before a booking is confirmed, Cengo Travel reserves the right to amend price of product due to any circumstances outside the control of Cengo Travel such as but not limited to changes relating to governmental action, increases in transportation costs (including schedule airfares & the cost of fuel) changes in any dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services (including landing taxes or embarkation / disembarkation fees at airports), increases in admission fees. Payments can be made via bank transfers (Subject to 20 Euro processing fee; account details to be provided upon booking) Visa or MasterCard, via authorization (Subject to 3% processing fee; credit card copy may be requested). Product information is published by Cengo Travel in good faith & Cengo Travel will use its best endeavours to operate all Products.Cengo Travel reserves the right to change any of the facilities & services described in its publications & to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation & accepts no liability for loss of enjoyment resulting from any change.

Cancellation by Cengo Travel

Cengo Travel reserves the right to cancel any confirmed booking in any circumstances, however, Cengo Travel will not cancel a Guaranteed Departure Product except in the unusual circumstances of force majeure, defined here as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, flight cancellation or any other external circumstances beyond the control of Cengo Travel. Compensation is not available if Cengo Travel is forced to cancel or in any way change a tour due to force majeure but where Cengo Travel is unable to provide the tour booked, Cengo Travel will return to the Client all monies paid to Cengo Travel (less any insurance premiums paid) or offer an alternative date or holiday of comparable standard.

Travel Insurance

Adequate insurance is mandatory for all Clients to cover at least but not limited to medical & repatriation expenses, loss of luggage & cancellation or curtailment of a Product & should not exclude any planned adventure activities from the time of booking for the full duration of the Product as a minimum. A Client & his personal belongings are the sole responsibility of himself. Cengo Travel accepts no liability on the Client's behalf where Cengo Travel has provided a Product of reasonable standard. Clients are fully responsible for arranging their own insurance.

Liability of Cengo Travel

Cengo Travel Products & in particular, adventure activities, contain an element of risk to the personal safety of the Client that other package holidays may not contain. By accepting these Booking Conditions Clients are aware of the risks inherent in their chosen travel & Clients undertake such risks at their own volition. Cengo Travel accepts no liability of Client's damages where Cengo Travel has fulfilled its Duty of Care to Clients by providing Products of a reasonable standard. Cengo Travel accepts no liability if there has been no fault on the part of Cengo Travel or its' suppliers, & the reason for the claimed damages was either the Client's fault or a result of unusual circumstances beyond the control of Cengo Travel by force majeure & the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with all due care. In respect of carriage by air, sea & rail & the provision of accommodation, Cengo Travel's liability in the said cases will be limited in the manner provided by the relevant international conventions. Cengo Travel accepts no liability if additional costs to the Client are incurred through delay, accident or disruption of the Product(s) beyond the control of Cengo Travel by force majeure.

Travel Documentation

It is the responsibility of the Clients to be in possession of a valid passport, visa permits, vaccinations, preventative medicines & other medical certificates & all necessary travel documents Cengo Travel is not liable for damages arising from changes in regulations or laws to the necessary travel document requirements. Information about these matters is given in good faith by Cengo Travel but without liability.

Health & Conduct

All Clients are expected to satisfy themselves prior to booking that they are fit & able to complete the itinerary of their chosen tour as described in the brochure. Any Clients with pre-existing medical conditions or illness must declare the true nature of such conditions at the time of booking, & make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment which may be required during the tour. Such a client is required to provide a medical statement from a General Practitioner to confirm they are fit to travel. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking conditions & relieve Cengo Travel from any obligations & liability.

Client Exclusion & Local Law

Clients agree to accept the authority & decisions of Cengo Travel's & its supplier's employees & representatives whilst on tour. If in the opinion of such persons, the health or conduct of a Client before or after the departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable or happy progress of the tour, the Client may be excluded from all or part of the tour without prior notice or any liability on the part of Cengo Travel. In the case of Client ill health, Cengo Travel may make such arrangements as it sees fit & recover the costs thereof from the Client. Passengers agree to comply with the laws & regulations of the countries they travel. Cengo Travel shall not be liable to any Clients who commit illegal or unlawful acts whilst on tour.

Photographing

Our authorised representatives may take photographs & films of our Clients while using any Cengo Travel Product. Cengo Travel reserves the right to use said material for any advertising or promotion without obtaining further consent. Cengo Travel also reserves the right to use any comments Clients make, questionnaires or complimentary letters with respect to Cengo Travel or its Products in promotional literature.

Complaints

If the Client has a complaint about any of the Product arrangements the Client must raise the complaint immediately with a Cengo Travel employee so that Cengo Travel can use its best endeavours to rectify the problem.Cengo Travel cannot rectify a problem it is unaware of. Failure to complain on the spot will extinguish or at least reduce Cengo Travel's liability to pay compensation. Should Cengo Travel be unable to resolve the problem on the spot a complaint must be made at your earliest convenience.
