Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati-Shillong (100km/ 3hours)

  Arrive at Airport or Poltan Bazaar rail station at Guwahati.
  Meet our representative & directly proceed to Shillong, it is also called 'Scotland of the East". On the way to Shillong there are lots of natural beauty and stop at Barapani Lake.
  Today you can visit:
  Don Bosco Monument: The statue of Don Bosco, educator and friend of the youth stands at a busy intersection at Don Bosco Square, Shillong which is the centre of educational institutions in the city.
  Cethadrel Church: The Cathedral Church of Mary Help of Christians is the principal place of worship of the over 3, 00,000 strong Catholics of the Shillong Archdiocese which covers the Khasi & Jaiñtia Hills in Meghalaya.
  Ward's Lake where you can enjoy boating.
  Elephanta falls: The Elephant Falls located just outside the Shillong city at a distance of approx 10 kms provides a unique sight wherein the water column carves out its way and surrenders to gravity at two successive locations.
  Lady Hydri Park: Lady Hydari Park, owes its existence to the erstwhile nature loving first lady of the state, Lady Hydari the wife of Governor of Assam (It used to be a big state).
  Shillong Peak: The Shillong peak stands at a whopping 2000mtr above sea level. The peak dedicated to the city is also the highest point in the state.
  Evening you can visit the local shopping malls, and Police Bazar which is the main attraction of Shillong.
  Overnight stay in Shillong.

• Day 2 : Shillong-Cherrapunji (180km/ 2hours)

  After breakfast you will be visiting Cherrapunji which is about 70 kms drive from Shillong.
  Name Sohra is more commonly used; (alternative spellings are Cherrapunjee and Charrapunji), is a sub-divisional town in the East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya. It is credited as being the wettest place on Earth.
  The Cherrapunji is a land of wonderful waterfalls and beautiful valleys. Some of the Main Attractions are the following:
  Ram Krishna Mission: There is a special performance known as Shad Suk Mynsiem or 'Dance of the Joyous Heart' organized here during the month of April which one should try not to miss. It was established in 1939.
  Nohkalikai Waterfalls: These waterfalls lie at a distance of 5 km from Cherrapunji. They are very popular as they have earned the title of being fourth highest waterfall in the world with a height of 1100 ft. The view of these waterfalls falling off a steep cliff is majestic especially during the monsoon.
  Mawsmai caves: near Cherrapunji are experiences in itself, the limestone caves are well lit up. But if you want to thrill yourself more, climb up to the caves which are not lit up, they are guaranteed to spook you as one has to crawl their way in.
  Evening come back to Shillong for overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Shillong-Guwahati-Onwards journey

  After breakfast check out from hotel & depart to Guwahati airport, On the way to airport you can visit world famous Maa Kamakhya Temple.
