The British ‘discovered’ it in 1819. The famous main street, The Mall, still runs along the crest of the ridge and is lined with stately English-looking houses. Morning Post Breakfast, we checkout and go on City Tour of Shimla including The Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Christ Church is Situated on the Ridge is Christ Church, which is the second oldest church in Northern India. It has a very majestic appearance and inside there are stained glass windows which represent faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience and humility and Jakhu Temple dedicated to the monkey god Hanuman. It's located near the highest point of the ridge and offers fine views of the town, surrounding valley and snow-capped peaks. Other scenic spots nearby include the 67m high Chadwick Falls, the picnic spot of Prospect Hill, and Wildflower Hall - the site of the former mansion of Lord `Your-Country-Needs-You' Kitchener.

After breakfast drive to Rohtang Pass, En route visit Solnag Valley Steeped in sheer natural beauty, Solan village is a wonderful place to visit. It boasts of a snow point which offers breathtaking views of the glaciers and snow-covered mountain peaks. Rotang PassIt is a famous attraction of Manali which attracts many a tourists (Rohtang Pass is close from Nov to May). It is located at an altitude of 13,050 feet above sea level. Steeped in sheer natural beauty, Rotang Pass is covered with snow. A visit to this place will offer you oodles of adventure.


Back to Manali and visit Manali including “Hadimba Devi Temple” Built in 1533, this temple is dedicated to the deity Hadimba who was the wife of Bhim. The temple is known for its four-storeyed pagoda and exquisite wooden carvings, Manu Temple is dedicated to Manu Rishi, a sage who not only meditated here but is also believed to be the creator of human race on earth

Tibetan Monastery and “Vashisht Village” also boasts a pair of old stone temples, opposite each other above the main square. Dedicated to the local patron saint Vaishisht, the smaller of the two opens on to a partially covered courtyard, and is adorned with elaborate woodcarvings.

Today we will drive to Chandigarh via Kullu, 85 km from Manali and 45 km from Kullu, En route visit Kullu, and drive continue to Manaikarn, in the Parvati Valley. Here icy cold waters of the Parvati river co-exists with boiling water side-by-side. The hot water springs are reputed for their healing properties.
Arrive Chandigarh and transfer you to the hotel. Chandigarh is one of the most planned cities in India. Afternoon visit Shukhna Lake.
