Shirdi Aurangabad Tour

On arrival at Aurangabad airport, you will be transferred to Shirdi. On the way to Shirdi, visit the famous Shani Shingnapur Temple which is around 80 kms away and will take 1.5 hours to reach. Shingnapur village is known not only known for its popular temple of Shani, the Hindu god of planet Saturn, but is also famous for the fact that no house has doors; the fear of god preventing any thefts. After a relatively quick darshan, proceed to Shirdi which will again take 1.5 hours to reach. On arrival, check into the hotel and then visit the famous Sai Baba Mandir. Return to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel in Shirdi.

After an early breakfast, leave from Shirdi and transfer to Aurangabad hotel via the famous Ellora caves. Ellora caves are a World Heritage site. Ellora represents the epitome of Indian rock-cut architecture. The 34 "caves", which are actually structures that have been excavated out of the vertical face of the Charanandri hills. Buddhist, Hindu and Jain rock-cut temples and viharas and mathas were built between the 5th century and 10th century. The 12 Buddhist (caves 1–12), 17 Hindu (caves 13–29) and 5 Jain (caves 30–34) caves, built in proximity, demonstrate the religious harmony prevalent during this period of Indian history. One aspect a typical visitor overlooks is the geological background of Ellora. After spending a few hours in Ellora, proceed to visit Daulatabad. Daulatabad is a 14th century fort city which includes the hill-fortress of Devagiri (also simply known as Daulatabad Fort). After visiting the fort, arrive in Aurangabad in the evening and check-in to the hotel. The rest of the evening is free at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
