Short Escape to Wayanad

You arrive at the railway station/ airport in Kozhikode for the trip to commence. You are then taken to Wayanad, through 3 hours drive. On reaching you check in at the hotel. Shortly you advance to the Chembra Peak, you have to take a hike up the peak and on the way you will come across an interesting lake in a shape of a heart. However, the walk up hill is worth it for the view it presents and the place is very peaceful. After this you return back to the hotel and spend the night over.

After breakfast you leave for sightseeing. Visit the Pookot Lake which is a scenic freshwater lake that offers boat rides; ride on the lake provides the view of the fresh and green surrounding. You will be thrilled to see the Soojipara Falls for its beauty and rich resources it provides. Further you go on to visit the Bansura sagar, the second largest earth dam in Asia. You will be captivated seeing the walls of the Edakkal Caves; it is a very popular site among the tourists and archeologists worldwide. You also visit the Pakshipathalam and Meenmutty waterfalls; they are equally striking to look at. After a long day of adventure, you can take rest or go out own your own to check out more places. Stay overnight.
