Gurudwara Nanak Matta Sahab is a historical Sikh shrine in a town named Nanak Matta (also known as Nanak Mata) in Udham Singh Nagar District of Uttrakhand It is situated in The Tarai of Nainital between Khatima and Sitarganj on the National Highway No 9(Old NH 74Rudrapur-Sitarganj-Khatima Section). The town Nanakmatta is situated on the bank of Deoha stream a tributary of Saryu River, which has since been dammed into a reservoir named Nanak Sagar. Gurudwara Sri Nanakmatta Sahib is associated with the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev ji who went there during his third Udasi in 1514, in which he travelled to Mount Kailash during his stay he had debated with Gorakhpanthi Saints called Sidha Nath and defeat to him at This Place. Thousands of pilgrims come here throughout the year. The town also got popular with the construction huge Nanakmatta Dam built across Saryu River. There are lot of places are attract to Pilgrims At Nanakmatta sahib such are large Nanaksagar lake, Bowali sahib, Bhandara Sahib, Doodh wala Kuan, Baba Al Mast Sahab, Ever Green Piple Tree and 6th Pathsahi. The Famous Purnagiri Temple is also nearest destination (Aprox 50 km nearby) for tourist in Indo Nepal Border. Nandhore National Park is also nearby destination for Wildlife lovers, Jaulasaal and Dugharee Range are touch to Nanakmatta Gurudwara Meetha Reetha Sahib was constructed around year 1960 and is situated near the village Deyuri (Ladhiya Ghati) in Champawat District of Uttrakhand. On Holy Sangam of River Ladhiya and Ratiya, Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited this place with Bhai Mardana and Bala Ji. There were Jogis sitting under the Reetha (soap nut) trees. Guru Nanak Dev ji also sat under a Reetha tree and asked Bhai Mardana Ji to eat a Reetha. Reetha are usually bitter in taste but this Reetha which Guru Nanak Dev Ji plucked for Bhai Mardana Ji was sweet. Jogis were surprised by all this and later they come to know that on which side Guru Nanak Dev Ji was sitting all the Reetha has become sweet. These trees are still there in the Gurudwara and the Reetha are still said to be sweet in taste. This is the reason why this place is called Meetha Reetha Sahib. Even today the people who visits the Gurudwara gets sweet Reetha (soap nuts) as Prasada. Due to its religious background this place is considered as a holy place for Sikhs. The temple of DHERNATH ji (Last Sidha Nath of Gorakhpanth) is also located beside the Gurudwara. On Baisakhi purnima, Sikh fair is held in this Gurudwara as this place is very sacred. Not only Gurudwara there is some attractive tourist destinations are scared nearby Reetha sahib e.g: Patal Rudreswar Cave, Shri Varahi Temple Devidhura, Adhewet Ashram Mayawati (Lohaghat) Banasur Ka Quila Lohaghat, Abbot Mount Lohaghat, Baleswar Mahadev Temple Champawat, and Shyamla tal lake,
Day 1 : Delhi To Nanakmatta ( 345km/ 7 hrs)
Early in the morning cab will report you in your place (Apt/Stn/Hotel/Resi) in Delhi Transfer to Nanakmatta Sahib Refress at Hotel or Guest House which available either in Rudrapur Sitarganj or Nanakmatta. During Evening visit to Gurudwara or nearby Destinations, Related to Nanakdev Ji or Enjoy Evening at Nanaksagar Dam for magnificent Sun Set View. Return Gurudwara or Hotel Stay at Night.
Day 2 : Nanak Matta to Champawat (120km/4 hrs)
Early in the Morning Visit Gurudwara for Pray and Sabad Keertan, Take Prasad In Gurudwara return Back to Hotel Cheakout and Dippart for Famous Purnagiri Temple If Have Manage Time may shopping in Nepal Brahmdev Market. And go for Shyamla Tal or Champawat stay at Night in Beautiful Hill Station.
Day 3 : Champawat To Reetha Sahib (75km/3hr)
Visit to See Baleswar Temple, Adhewet Ashram Mayawati Lohaghat Do Lunch at Lohaghat Plane to Go for Little Track on for Banasur Ka Quila by Foot you can See complete Himalayan View and Proceed for Sri Reetha sahib till Early Evening Take Rest At Gurudwara Sahib stay at Night at Gurudwara sahib or Guest House or Camp if available .
Day 4 : Reetha sahib To Delhi (500km/11 hrs)
Early in The morning goes for Sabad Keertan and Gurudwara darshan and Return Back to Haldwani via Devidhura. See Varahi Temple on Route takes Lunch on Midway Dhaba Refress at Bheemtal and Naukuchia Tal till Evening. Proceed to return back Delhi reached Delhi till Mid night.
