This is an excellent option for those who want to experience this remote part of Sikkim completely. Adding destinations like Mankhim from where you can enjoy boating in an emerald lake or staying amidst a pine forest or taking a short trek to discover some rare species of birds at Icchey Gaon gives a very mixed and exciting experience to the whole tour.
Day 1 : ARRIVAL & TRANSFER TO SILERIGAON
Our reserve vehicle will be there to receive the Guest at NJP Railway Station. He will assist guest for the forwarding journey to Sillery Gaon, situated at an altitude of 6000 ft. It is lovingly called by the locals as New Darjeeling. Sillery Gaon is a village of not more than 24 families and that too in the middle of a jungle. This place is being proclaimed as the New Darjeeling because of its beautiful view of the Kanchendzonga. Its serene atmosphere is an invitation to run away from the hum and din of the city. Rest of the day is free for your leisure. Overnight stay at Sillery Gaon.
Day 2 : TRANSFER TO PADAMCHEN
After morning breakfast proceed to Padamchen.
Padamchen is a small village on the Silk Route circuit just 14 kms from Rongli and 4 kms from Zuluk. Padamchen experiences a very pleasant weather throughout the year and this is one of the main reasons for its popularity. If you are not used to biting cold and snowfall but want to experience the mesmerizing sunrise, excellent views and winding roads and valleys of this Silk Route circuit, then staying at Padamchen could be a choice. Padamchen has some of the best views of the valleys and forests of this part of Sikkim and Himalayan foothills. You can visit the famous Old-Silk-Route. En-route visit Luxmi Chowk, Zig-Zag Way, Kuikhola Falls, Zuluk etc. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight stay at Padamchen.
Day 3 : TRANSFER TO NATHANG
Early morning breakfast. Today’s journey is totally depending upon weather and road conditions. Start with Lungthung, Nathang Valley, Kupup, the drive will be to a higher altitude, Travel onward to The Thambi View Point at 11000 feet, Next is Lungthung at about 13000 feet, Gnathang Valley, Tukla Valley (12500 feet), Jepepla Pass View and reach Kupup Lake, The Yak Golf Course is the highest golf course in the world at 13025 feet, Drive back to Nathang. Overnight stay at Nathang.
Day 4 : TRANSFER TO MANKHIM
Post breakfast move for Mankhim. Mankhim in East
Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim is known for its natural and landscaped beauty. Known for lush forest, mountains and rivers. The Aritar Lake, Rai Temple, View Point is a nearby attraction, Mankhim under Rongli sub division of East Sikkim is a tiny village situated on the Himalayas. The Lampokhari Lake, emerald forests, the sweeping hills with deep gorge and occasional waterfalls, the mountain slopes strewn with terrace farming and overall the panoramic view of the mighty Khangchendzonga range cast an indelible imprint on the mind of the traveller never to be effaced with the passage of time. Overnight stay at Mankhim.
Day 5 : DEPARTURE FROM MANKHIM
Early morning breakfast. Today you will depart from Mankhim with a cute smile on your face remembering all the sweet moments spent here and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Siliguri for further journey.
