Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Kanyakumari

    We arrive at Trivandrum Station. Arrival at hotel. In the evening we visit Kanyakumari Devi Mandir, Gandhi Mandapam, Trisamudra Milan and sunset point.

  • Day 2

    Kanyakumari

    Early morning we enjoy the Sunrise. After breakfast we take a ferryboat to visit the world famous Rock Memorial of Swami Vivekananda-puram and Eknathji Ranade Smarak.

  • Day 3

    Kanyakumari - Madurai, 240 Kms.

    Meenakshi Temple
    Meenakshi Temple

    We depart to Madurai. Enroute we visit Shuchindram temple. Afternoon arrival at Madurai. In the evening we visit the famous Meenakshi Temple. Rest of the time is free for shopping.

  • Day 4

    Madurai - Rameshwaram, 170 Kms.

    We have free time for relaxation in the morning. After lunch we depart for Rameshwaram. Members are requested to carry necessary clothing and toiletries in a handbag for overnight stay in the Guest House. In the evening you can take a walk on the beach.

  • Day 5

    Rameshwaram - Trichy - Thanjavur, 300 - Kms By Bus

    Early morning at 3.30 a.m. we visit Rameshwar Mandir for Sphatik Shivling Darshan and have a bath in the 22 teerthams. After breakfast we depart for Trichy. On arrival at Trichy we visit the largest temple of Lord Vishnu at Shrirangam, situated on a 600-acres island between the rivers Kaveri and Kollidam. Then we proceed to Thanjavur.

  • Day 6

    Thanjavur

    We visit the famous Brihadeshwar Shiva Temple. Here you can see Giant Nandi, carved in a single stone, which is considered to be the second largest in India, next to the one at Lepakshi. Evening is free for leisure activities.

  • Day 7

    Thanjavur - Pondicherry, 220 Kms.

    Today we depart to Pondicherry. In the evening we visit famous Auroville Village.

  • Day 8

    Pondicherry - Chennai, 160 Kms.

    We visit Aurobindo ashram and Ganesh Mandir. Then we proceed to Mamllapuram. On arrival we visit Arjun Shillanyas, Shore Temple, Pandava's Chariots. In the evening we arrive at Chennai.

  • Day 9

    Chennai - Kanchipuram - Chennai, 152 Kms.

    We proceed to Kanchipuram. On the way we visit Rajiv Gandhi Samarak at Sriperumbudur. On arrival at Kanchipuram we visit Shivkanchi and Vishnukanchi Temples. Free time for shopping.

  • Day 10

    Chennai - Tirupati, 150 Kms.

    Morning free for relaxation. After lunch we depart to Tirupati. Evening arrival at Tirupati.

  • Day 11

    Tirupati - Balaji Darshan, 40 Kms.

    Morning we proceed to Tirumala for Shree Balaji Darshan. After Darshan we will return to the hotel.

  • Day 12

    Departure From Chennai

    We proceed to Chennai Railway Station to board our respective train.
