After breakfast, drive from Shimla to Sarahan via Narkanda, Rampur, on this route, halt at Rampur for lunch. On reaching Sarahan, check-in to your Hotel. 2165 meters above the sea level, Sarahan commands a view of Srikhand Mahadev Peak and is famous for 800 years old Bhimakali Temple, one of the best examples of Hill Architecture. In the evening, enjoy panoramic view of Shrikhand Peaks. Also visiting Bhimakali Temple - one of the 51 Shaktipeeths, Attend the mesmerizing evening Aarti Ceremony thereafter this return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Sarahan is 2744 meters above the sea level. Participate in morning Aarti at Bhimakali Temple. After breakfast, check- out from your Hotel and depart for Sangla via Karcham. Your journey from here will take you to another spectacular destination in the middle Himalayas which is also known as Baspa valley – the prettiest valley in Himachal. Arrive at Sangla& check-in to your Hotel. After a delicious dinner, sleep comfortably overnight.

After breakfast, explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam. After lunch, leave for an excursion to Chitkul the last Village on old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Walk through the green orchards, by a brilliant stream. As the day falls, return to your hotel in Sangla for dinner and overnight stay.

From Kalpa, return once again to Powari and take the highway towards Pooh. The next petrol pump is not until Kaza so you should definitely tank up your vehicle at Reckong Peo. Register yourself at the check post at Pooh and continue straight towards Nako. I would personally recommend staying at Nako but if you want to, you may continue all the way to Tabo and stay there for the night. There are a couple of hotels at Nako and also a PWD guest house right next to Nako Lake. In case you want to stay at Tabo for the night, there are a few hotels here, of which the Banjara Camps retreat is the most luxurious. There are other hotels and hostels like Tashi Gangsar, Menthok Dumra at Tabo, including the monastery’s own guest houses.

Destination for today will be Kaza but you will be visiting the village of Dhankar as well on the way. Primary attraction at Dhankar are the two, Old and new, Dhankar monasteries. There is also a lake near Dhankar but to visit there, you will have to do a bit of trekking, a couple of hours. Kaza is approximately 115 kilometers from Nako and 60 from Tabo. Road is a mix of good and average so you can do this journey at ease, no need to rush. At most a 4-5 hours journey from Nako.

You will spend this day in Kaza, travelling the places around. Visit the famous Ki monastery and take a drive to the nearby villages of Kibber, Tashigong, Langza, Kaumik and return to Kaza by evening. This area is famous for some very old fossils that were found here. Tanggyud monastery in Koumik is worth a visit. Langza offers a great view of Chau Chau Kang Nelda peak. There is also a large Buddha statue here which is quite magnificent. Please do note that if you are short on time, you can skip this day.

Today start driving towards Chandra Tal - the crescent moon lake. The beauty of this lake will surely leave you spellbound. Click amazing pictures by the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at the swiss tents.

On the eighth day of your Spiti valley tour package from Chandigarh, you will leave for Manali from Rampur. Manali takes about 7-8 hours to reach from Chandra Tal. Dinner and overnight stay at Manali.
