Odisha (formerly Orissa), an eastern Indian state on the Bay of Bengal, is known for its tribal cultures and its many ancient Hindu temples. The capital, Bhubaneswar, is home to hundreds of temples, notably the Nagara-style Mukteswar and the Lingaraj, both built in the 11th century and set around sacred Bindusagar Lake. Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Bhubaneswar

Lingaraj Temple

Meet our representative on arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport and get transfer to the Hotel. Freshen up and leave for a short sightseeing tour of the city covering popular temples like Parasurameswar Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Rajarani and Lingaraj Temples. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.

Day 2

Puri En-route Sightseeing Tour

Dhauli

After taking breakfast, proceed for Puri while paying en-route visit to Khandagiri and Udaigiri caves, Chaushathi Yogini Temple and Dhauli Rock Edicts. On arrival at Puri, check-in at the Hotel and relax overnight.

Day 3

Sightseeing in Puri - Excursion to Konark & Chilika

Jagannath Temple

Pay an early morning visit to Jagannath temple and return to the hotel for breakfast. After taking breakfast, proceed for city tour including visit to the Potters' village of Jagannath Temple and Grand Road/market area. Later, visit the famous Konark Sun Temple and return to the Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

Trip to Chilika Lake

After taking breakfast, leave for Chilika Lake- Asia's largest brackish water lake. Here, you can go boating to spot wild Asiatic Irrawaddy dolphins at the mouth of the Bay of Bengal and Chilika. On your way back to Bhubaneswar Airport, visit the Raghurajpur Artisans' village and Pipli Appliqué work village. After reaching Bhubaneswar, board flight/train back home.
