Tiger Reserve-The Indian part of the Sundarbans is a designated tiger reserve and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The region's Bengal tiger population is adapted to a semi-aquatic lifestyle, and these tigers are known for their unique swimming abilities.

Biodiversity-The Sundarbans is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, both in terms of flora and fauna. It is home to numerous species of plants, fish, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Notably, the Bengal tiger is one of the most iconic inhabitants of the region. Other wildlife includes saltwater crocodiles, spotted deer, wild boars, various bird species, and marine creatures.
