Luzern – Mount Pilatus
Today, we will enjoy an excursion to Mount Pilatus, the site of the steepest cogwheel railway in the world. The excursion begins with a scenic cruise down Lake Lucerne from Lucerne to Alpnachstad; at Alpnachstad, we will board the steepest cogwheel railway up to the Pilatus 2132 m/7000 ft (from May/June to November, during winter you take the bus from Lucerne to Kriens and further with a panoramic gondola from Kriens to Pilatus).
