After early breakfast you are driven to Kancheepuram for dharshan of Lord Kailasanathar at the temple built between 685-705AD by the Pallava Dynasty. After dharshan visit the temples of Lord Vardaraj Perumal and Lord Ekambareshwarar known for its magnificent tower (Gopuram) and structure. Drive to resort for dinner and overnight stay in Mamallapuram.

Mamallapuram was 7th century port city of the South Indian dynasty reigned by the Pallava. The Rathas (temples in the form of chariots), Mandapas (cave sanctuaries), Giant open air rock reliefs such as the famous Descent of the Ganges, and the Shore Temple, with thousands of sculptures to the glory of Lord Shiva will bring to life pages of history. The Group of Monuments at Mamallapuram has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast you drive to Thanjavur en route visit Kallanai, known as the ‘Grand Anicut’ an ancient dam built across river Kaveri. The Dam was constructed by King Karikala Cholan, in 2nd century AD. It is the fourth-oldest water-regulatory structures in the world still in use. Reach Thanjavur for dinner and overnight stay.
