Package Overview

Having bought food at the traditional market, enjoy cooking and eating traditional dish - Plov, at a house of a Kyrgyz family, in the afternoon get to know the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic, its historical and cultural legacy.

In the morning food shopping at the Central Osh Bazar. We buy all the ingredients to cook Plov (traditional dish of rice, carrots and meat) together with the members of a kyrgyz family.

Upon arrival to the house of local family, we start our cooking master class which will take around 2 hours.

Both cooking and lunch take about 3 hours.

After lunch transfer to the city center for sightseeing tour which is mainly on foot and lasts about 3 hours.

Start at the main Ala Too Square with the Manas Monument, then walk around to the Old Square with the Parliament House and the Lenin Statue, walk through the Oak Park to the Statue of Kurmandzhan Datka at Erkindik Boulevard and Open Air Art Gallery, walk to the Opera and Ballet House, further to the Victory Square with the Eternal Flame.

Souvenirs shopping opportunities: ZUM department store at the very end of the city tour.

At the tour one of the two museums in the city center can be visited – the State Historical Museum(at the moment it is closed for repairs) or the House Museum of Frunze.Spanish, Kyrgyz, French, Japanese speaking guide – please check with a manager availability of a guide and extra charge.
