  Morning:
  • Drive to Uplistsikhe Cave Town, an ancient rock-hewn city carved into cliffs along the Mtkvari River. Dating from the 1st millennium BC, it was once a major political and religious hub. Explore ancient caves, tunnels, and temples from the pagan era.
  Afternoon:
  • Proceed to Mtskheta, the former capital and one of the oldest towns in Georgia.
  • Visit Jvari Monastery (6th–7th century), perched on a cliff overlooking the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi Rivers – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Explore Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, built 1010–1029 AD, known as the burial site of Christ’s robe.
