Arrive at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi. After immigration and baggage collection, meet a local driver outside the airport who will transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi. Pick up from your Hanoi hotel early in the morning and travel by limousine bus on a 6 to 7 hour road transfer to Sapa. Arrive in Sapa and check in or drop off at your hotel to relax. In the afternoon the guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and take you to visit Cat Cat Village to see the hydropower station and waterfall and engage in cultural exchange while walking around. Continue to Sin Chai Village to learn about the Red Dao community and enjoy scenic views. Walk back to the vehicle and return to your hotel in Sapa for overnight. Meals provided: Breakfast. After breakfast, check out of your room before 08:30. Depart from the hotel at 08:30 to walk down to Y Linh Ho village inhabited by the Hmong minority where you can photograph hereditary rice terraces estimated around 100 years old. Continue to Lao Chai village to visit the Hmong hometown and stop in Lao Chai for a lunch break around 13:00. Then continue to Ta Van, a Hmong and Giay village, where you will be welcomed by a local Giay family and may stay overnight in their homestay. Options are to stay in the homestay where you can cook and have dinner with the local family or return to Sapa for dinner and overnight at a hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch and dinner. Breakfast at your staying hotel then proceed to Fansipan area. At around 09:00 reach an altitude of approximately 2800 meters where you can enjoy panoramic views, visit the pagoda and trek up to 600 steps to reach the peak of Fansipan the Roof of Indochina. Spend about 1.5 hours for hiking and photography. At 11:00 return to the cable car station and transfer back to Sapa town. Have lunch at the hotel at 12:30. Free time between 13:30 and 14:45. Meet group at 14:45 15:00 to prepare for departure. At 15:30 board the bus to return to Hanoi with two comfort breaks and arrive Hanoi around 21:15. Overnight in Hanoi. Meals: Breakfast and lunch. Driver picks you up from your Hanoi hotel and transfers you to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival at the harbour, board the cruise by tender and receive a welcome drink. After check in, enjoy lunch in the cruise restaurant. Participate in cruise activities according to the chosen itinerary which may include exploring caves and grottos, kayaking and a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. Breakfast at your hotel then meet the guide and start a Hanoi city tour. Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake, then visit the Ho Chi Minh complex including the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh and the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Continue to One Pillar Pagoda. Visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups, or visit the Women's Museum instead if the Ethnology Museum is closed on Mondays. Have lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Temple of Literature established in the 11th century and the Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Depending on your departure flight time the driver will transfer you from the hotel lobby to Noi Bai Airport for your flight home. Note regular hotel check out time is 14:00.
