Day wise Itinerary

  Day 1: Waterfalls and Temples
  
  Morning: Arrive in Theni and check into your accommodation. After freshening up, head to Suruli Falls (approx. 56 km from Theni town). This two-tiered waterfall is a major tourist attraction, surrounded by lush forests. You can enjoy the cascades and take a refreshing dip in the natural pool.
  Afternoon: Near Suruli Falls, visit the Suruli Velappar Temple, which is a religious site dedicated to Lord Murugan. Explore the nearby ancient caves for a glimpse into rock-cut architecture.
  Evening: Return to Theni and visit the Sri Kamatchi Amman Temple, known for its intricate architecture and serene atmosphere. Take a leisurely walk around the temple complex.

  Day 2: Hill Stations and Plantations
  
  Morning: Start your day with a trip to Meghamalai, also known as the “High Wavy Mountains” (approx. 43 km from Theni). This stunning hill station is famous for its tea and cardamom plantations, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful environment. You can take a nature walk or a jeep safari to explore the Meghamalai Wildlife Sanctuary to spot local flora and fauna.
  Afternoon: Visit the Highwavys Dam and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You can also explore a tea or cardamom plantation to learn about the cultivation process.
  Evening: Head back towards Theni. On the way, stop at Bodinayakkanur, a town famous for its spice plantations. It’s often called the “Cardamom Capital of India” and is a great place for a scenic walk and some spice shopping.

  Afternoon: Continue to Kumbakkarai Falls, located at the foothills of the Kodaikanal hills (approx. 30 km from Theni). The waterfall cascades in two stages, and its natural pools are perfect for a relaxing time amidst nature.
  Evening: Visit the Sothuparai Dam, a tranquil spot built across the Varaha River (approx. 20 km from Theni). It offers beautiful views and is an ideal location for nature photography and birdwatching.
