Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Udhampur district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. In Hinduism, Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Mother Goddess. It is on a mountain and a climb of about 14 km has to be undertaken to reach it. While most devotees prefer to walk both ways, many of them ride a pony for part of or entire journey. There are Palkis available for the elderly. Amritsar city is one of the cities of the Punjab state in India. This city was founded by the fourth Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das in 1574 on land bought by him for 700 rupees from the owners of the village of Tung.The city has one of the most prominent Shrine of Sikhs The Harimandir Sahib popularly known as Golden Temple. Wagah is the only road border crossing between Pakistan and India, and lies on the Grand Trunk Road between the cities of Amritsar, Punjab, India, and Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The border is located 22 km from Lahore and 28 km from Amritsar.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Katra

In the morning after arriving Katra from Delhi by night journey by Tempo traveler or Mini bus.Check in your hotel have a breakfast,take rest.After taking rest ,Start trekking to Holy shrine 13.5 KM for the Darshan for Mata Shri Vaishno Devi Jee , return Back in the evening. Overnight at Hotel in Katra.

Day 2 Amritsar

Golden Temple

After an early breakfast, drive back to Amritsar – the land of the Golden Temple. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.After that proceed to Golden Temple , at afternoon we visit Wagah Border to attend the Beating Retreat ceremony held before sunset, make sure you reach the border by 3:30 p.m. In the evening return back to hotel, if you want than go to the golden temple .Later have Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 Amritsar - Departure

After an early breakfast, visit the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. After that we proceed towards Delhi airport or railway station but on your way , we have a special lunch plan from our company Touristwala in very famous Rangla Punjab. After enjoying Lunch get transferred to Delhi airport/railway station.
