Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Jordan

  Meet and Assist at Queen Alia International Airport and transfer to the hotel in Aqaba.

• Day 2 : Wadi Rum

  A free morning in Aqaba then after lunch depart for Wadi Rum visitors centre. Meet with the Bedouin guide for a 4×4 Jeep drive approximately 2 km to Abu Aineh, also known as Lawrence’s spring. Here, change to camels and continue to the red sand dunes, the inscriptions at Anafisheyeh and Jabal Khazali. Arrive at camp for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3 : Wadi Rum - Petra

  Back to the Jeeps to continue the tour with the Bedouin guide to the interesting sites of Wadi Rum. Lawrence’s House, Barragh Canyon, Khazali Canyon and Jabal Burdah, then to Um Fruth Bridge for some easy scrambling before going back to the village. Departure for camp near Petra for dinner and overnight.

• Day 4 : Petra

  After breakfast our Bedouin guide will take you on a hike in to Petra through the ‘back door’. Starting from Siq Al Barid (Little Petra) follow the trail across a sandy plateau, to a stone staircase that spirals up through the cliff edge, enjoy the exhilarating scenery and narrow tracks up to Al Deir (The Monastery). From here, you will then have 4 hours to explore the rest of Petra, at the end of the day exit the site through the Siq. A very long, but enjoyable day. Back to the camp for the night

• Day 5 : Little Petra - Dana

  After breakfast, a beautiful 2-3 hour hike up the mountains visiting Hajj Shayyan’s Pool, the Shaman’s pool, and then head westward around the camp through the gorge to Siq Al Barid and Little Petra. Have lunch with the Bedouins. Depart for Dana Nature Reserve, on arrival head to Dana Guest house to start the Dana Village trail. An easy 2 hour trail winds above the Dana village and through the terraced gardens and local handicraft workshops. Transfer to camp for overnight stay in the reserve.

• Day 6 : Dana

  After breakfast, start the Feynan Trail. Approximately a 14 Km hike (5-6 hours). This is a long but relatively easy trail that follows a dirt track the whole length of Wadi Dana and links Dana Village to the western gateway of the reserve in Feynan. The trail passes through all the vegetation zones of the reserve, from Mediterranean scrub forest around Dana Village to the open stony deserts of Wadi Feynan. At the end of the day, transfer to hotel at the Dead Sea.

• Day 7 : Wadi Zarqa Ma’in Trail

  Meet with specialist guide at Hammamat Ma’in for a 6 km water hike with 2 abseils, a green and beautiful easy grade hike, going towards the Dead Sea. The canyon’s water source is mostly warm water from deep underground spring. The trail is mostly narrow, with two major waterfalls 35 and 40 m high. The second part consists more of pools and jumps and big boulder blocks. The trail takes approximately 5-6 hours. Then spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the Dead Sea. Overnight at the Dead Sea

• Day 8 : Departure from Jordan

  After breakfast you will have a few more hours in the morning to enjoy the Dead Sea, before transfer to Aqaba for departure.
