Tsavo East & Tsavo West National Park

An early start takes you about 100 km to SALA GATE where you will enter the famous TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK. The route follows the GALANA RIVER which cuts this National Park in half. The northern part is an area without water and almost in accessible and encompassed the well known YATTA PLATEAU.
The park is renowned for it's population of 'Red Elephants' as well as it rugged wild scenery with steep rock hills, rising abruptly from extensive plains broken by river valleys.
Aquatic Birds will be seen at ARUBA DAM, enroute to VOI LODGE (with pool) where lunch will be served. Several species of animals are usually seen in the vicinity of the Lodge, offering a good opportunity for photographs.
After lunch continue game drive to VOI GATE to leave this park and enter the TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK, where you make game drive until sunset. Later you arrive e.g. NGULIA LODGE for check in, dinner and overnight stay.

In the morning pre-breakfast game drive and later morning game drive with a visit at MZIMA SPRINGS, a subterranean spring coming from Mount Kilimanjaro. This water is the 'lifeline' of Mombasa. Here, Hippos, numerous topical fish and crocodile bustle about. Continue driving until reaching the gate of the National Park, arrive in time at VOI TOWN for lunch and return to Malindi to your hotel.
