Our representative will be waiting for you at Udaipur Airport to take you to your chosen hotel in this legendary lakeside city. After check-in, you will meet your local guide, who will take you first to the spectacular Jagdish Temple in the backstreets of the old city and then to the City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola. Originally built in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh, it is now an eclecticcollection of buildings, housing a museum that gives vivid insights into palace life in days gone by.
As evening approaches, you will have the chance to take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, where “Octopussy” was filmed, before going to dinner.

Have a hearty breakfast at your hotel before starting your bike ride, while the tour leaders fit out your bike for you. They will advise on safety techniques and give you a quick lesson on the rules of the road in Rajasthan. And then set off to Ranakpur, to visit the world-famous Jain temples carved from white marble.

The first part of your ride is through verdant countryside and past Udaipur’s famous Tiger Lake.
After 25 km, there will be a short transfer, using a support vehicle to avoid the main highway, as there is no other route through the winding mountain countryside, to the small village of Mandawa. And from there you will ride to your final destination – Ranakpur – to check in and relax over lunch, before visiting the magnificent Jain temples.

After an early-morning breakfast at the hotel, depart for Kumbhalgarh – the famous fort complex surrounded by the second longest wall in the world. The route involves some fairly arduous roads and steep inclines, but the countryside is spectacular and there are plenty of places to stop and admire the view, so have your camera read.. On arrival, you will climb to the impressive Kumbhalgarh Fort complex, which comprises 365 temples, enclosed by a 35km wall.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel of your choice in the village.
