Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide who will assist with luggage and transfer you to Arusha Town. The drive to Arusha takes approximately one hour and offers your first glimpse of Tanzanias landscapes. Depending on arrival time, you may relax at the lodge, enjoy the peaceful gardens, or prepare for the safari. Your guide will provide a comprehensive safari briefing covering the itinerary, wildlife expectations, safety guidelines, and answer any questions. After an early breakfast depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its enormous elephant population ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River which provides water for wildlife during the dry season. During the game drive you may encounter elephants lions giraffes zebras wildebeests buffaloes warthogs impalas elands and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park amid spectacular scenery then continue afternoon wildlife viewing. In the late afternoon leave the park and drive to Karatu Town for dinner and an overnight stay. After an early breakfast spend the entire day exploring Central Serengeti one of Africas richest wildlife habitats known for large resident predators including lions leopards cheetahs and spotted hyenas. The experienced guide will track wildlife to increase chances of witnessing predator prey interactions and discovering hidden animal sightings. The cooler highland climate provides a refreshing contrast to the Serengeti plains. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the crater safari the following day. After an early breakfast descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.
