Package Overview

Cruise the Chobe River to delight in the park's large herds of elephant that concentrate in and by the Chobe River particularly during dry season, accompanied by other wildlife. Then to Maun for a mokoro safari in the Okavango Delta, a vast wetland teeming with animals and birdlife.

Spending Money
You will need a bit of spending money to cover drinks, lunch and souvenirs. This money also covers you if you wish to upgrade occasionally from camping as well.
Tipping is customary in Africa, so budget for gratuities if you wish for guides or drivers who provide good service such as on game drives or guided tours. Again it is at your discretion, but your tour leader and driver will appreciate a tip to acknowledge their hard work during your tour.

Visa
Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 - 9 months after your trip finishes. Ensure as well you have adequate pages in your passport for each country you visit. Up to 2 consecutive blank pages can be required. If you have dual nationality you can only use one passport for the entire trip, whilst bringing both is wise as a back up. For this tour visas for most passport holders including British, Australian, New Zealand, Irish, South African, German, French, Canadian and American passport holders can be arranged in Africa on route. Please note for passengers flying into Livingstone airport, Zambia, you will need to request the Univisa which gives entry to both Zambia and Zimbabwe and is U$50

As per the 1st June 2017 Botswana will be charging a tourism levy of U$30 for everyone entering the country. Only SADC citizens ( Southern Africa) are exempt of this. Everyone travelling to Botswana should budget for this fee. Payment for this levy can be made in USD cash or by card.
This is valid for 30 days and can be used for multiple entry.

Visas can only be paid for in US Dollars cash.
