Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Airport / Negambo

    After the arrival you will be met and transferred to Nagambo. On arrival Negombo check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 2 : Maduganga Boat Ride / Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conversation Center / Moonstone Mine / Galle City Tour / Ko

    Breakfast at hotel,Proceed to Galle
    En-route , Maduganga Boat Ride .visit Hikkaduwa ,The coral sanctuary found on the coast of Hikkaduwa is a large shallow body of water enclosed by a reef, decorated with layers of multi colored corals, & colorful fish.
    The town of Ambalangoda along the south coast road is the home of devil dancing and mask making .Visit mask museum & factory. Also visits Moonstone mine. Moonstones are beautiful stones which are white and give a blue shimmer when watched from an angle.
    Visit Dutch Fort in Galle : Dutch Fort: Portuguese built the first fort to withstand attack from the Sri Lankan kingdoms to the north. The Dutch entrance to the fort with it VOC with 1669 carved in the inner archway is still in use.
    Dutch Museum: For a peep into life in the days of the Dutch East India Company, look into this small museum at 31 Leynbaan Street.

  • Day 3 : Whales and Dolphin Watching / Thudella Blue Whole / Yala 

    Early morning transfer to Mirissa @ 5.30am. Transfer to Mirissa to Whale and dolphin watching.
    Whale and dolphin watching are exciting and unique activities of Mirissa, and are the first and longest whale watching place on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The frequent sighting all year round has put Sri Lanka and the Mirrissa area on the worlds ‘Top Hot Spots’ for sperm and blue whale sightings. The blue whales are frequently seen during the first quarter off the South and West Coast of Sri Lanka, which is part of their migration pattern. The period between January and April is also a good time for dolphins. We often have been accompanied by pods of spinner dolphins during your trips.After lunch transfer to Thissamaharama. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 4 : Yala National Park Full Day Safari

    Breakfast at hotel. Visit yala national park in full day safari tour.
    Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s premier eco tourism destination.The vegetation in the park comprises predominantly of semi-arid thorny scrub, interspersed with pockets of fairly dense secondary forest. Small patches of mangrove vegetation also occur along the coastal lagoons. The park is renowned for the variety of its Wildlife (most notably its many elephants) and its fine coastline (with associated coral reefs). It also boasts a large number of important cultural ruins, bearing testimony to earlier civilizations and indicating that much of the area used to be populated and well developed. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 5 : Bundala National Park (Bird Watching) & Udawalawe National Park

    Breakfast at hotel. Visit early morning to Bundala National Park to bird watching .Evening spend on Udawalawe National Park.
    Bundala National Park is an internationally important wintering ground for migratory water birds in Sri Lanka.This park is situated 245 km southeast of Colombo. Bundala harbors 197 species of Birds, the highlight being the Greater Flamingo, which migrate in large flocks.The water bodies create a good feeding ground for the wetland birds, Migratory birds & Flocks of humming birds which attracts many visitors. Migratory birds can be found in very large numbers during the migratory period. This national park consists of many large and small water bodies such as lagoons, tanks (reservoirs) and salt pans. In 2005 the national park was designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, the fourth biosphere reserve in Sri Lanka.
    Udawalawe national park is located approximately 200 km south-east of colombo city and is a major eco tourism destination in sri lanka. The 30,821 hectares dry zone game park has an annual rainfall of 1524mm and an average temperature of 29.4°c. It is most famous for the many elephants that live there (about 400 in total). During a visit, it is not unusual to see whole herds of adults and young elephants– feeding or bathing and playing in the water, in addition to this main attraction, the park is home to many water buffalo, water monitor lizards, sambar deer, monkeys and the occasional leopard, as well as being an exciting location for bird enthusiasts. 4WD open-top safari is the only way to see all the wonders that this protected reserve has to offer and our experienced and knowledgeable nature guides will make this an unforgettable experience. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 6 : Treking Sinharaja Rainforest / Rathnapura 

    Breakfast at hotel. visit Sinharaja for unpredictable rainforest experience in Sri Lanka.
    Sinharaja (Lion King) is bordered by rivers: the Koskulana Ganga in the north and the Gin Ganga in the south. An old foot track that goes past the Beverley Estate marks the eastern border, close to the highest peak in the forest, Hinipitigala (1171m). The reserve comprises 18,899 hectares of natural and modified forest, measuring about 21km east to west and 3.7km north to south. It was declared a Man and Biosphere Reserve (MAB) in 1978, as representative of tropical humid evergreen forest Eco system in Sri Lanka and has been recognized by UNESCO as part of its International Network of Biosphere reserves. It was declared a National wilderness area in 1988 and lately a world heritage site in 1989. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 7 : Colombo City Tour & Leisure in Hotel

    Breakfast at hotel. On time transfer to International airport to board flight for onward journey.
