Madhyamaheshwar is a Lord Shiva temple, is part of famous Panch Kedar. The temple is located at an altitude of 3497 mts and is the fourth temple to be visited in the Panch Kedar Pilgrimage circuit. The other temples in the circuit include: Kedarnath, Tungnath ,Rudranath and Kalpeshwar.
Inside temple a navel-shaped Shiva-lingam made of black stone, is enshrined in the sanctum. There are two other smaller shrines, one for Shiva’s consort Parvati and the other dedicated to the Ardhanarishwara, a half-Shiva half-Parvati image. To the right of the main temple there is a small temple where the image of Saraswati made of marble is installed in the sanctum.
Rishikesh – Ransi – Bantoli (240km/6-7km Trek)
Drive to Ransi 240km with hot lunch en route and after that trek 6km downhill to reach Bantoli, the point of confluence of Madhyamaheswar Ganga and Martyenda Ganga. There is a lovely view of waterfalls and forests as it rises to Gondhar. Less then 1 km later, another bridge spans the Saraswati River just as it merges into the Madhyamaheshwar stream.Overnight stay in Bantoli.

Bantoli – Madmaheshwar(12km Trek)
After Bfast, from Bantoli trek 12 km to reach Madmaheswar. The path exits from the forest as it is rounds the mountain to emerge at the Madhyamaheshwar (3,000m) meadow. The region has rich flora and fauna, particularly the endangered species of Himalayan Monal pheasant and Himalayan Musk Deer in the Kedarnath Wild Life Sanctuary.Overnight stay at Madhyamaheshwar.

Madmaheshwar - Vriddh-madmaheshwar–ransi(18 Km)
Early morning ready for natural and spiritual trek to see sunrise from Vriddh Madmaheshwar which is 1 km uphill , The temple is in a picturesque green valley surrounded by snow peaks of Chaukhamba (literal meaning is four pillars or peaks), Neel Kanth and Kedarnath in high Himalayan hill range source of the Mandakini River.
Back to Madmaheshwar have bfast. Then trek descend upto Ransi. Overnight stay at Ransi.

Ransi – Rishikesh(240 Km)
After bfast. pack your bags and sweet memories and back to Rishikesh.
