Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Bombay

  On arrival at the Bombay international airport following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, our representative, with your name placard, will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building and drive you to your hotel. After check – in at the hotel rest of the day at leisure.

• Day 2 : Bombay

  Today proceed for full day guided sight seeing of the vibrant city, which includes a visit to the Gateway of India constructed in honey color basalt inspired by 16th century Gujarat Style; the Afghan Memorial Church of St. John in the early English style and the Prince of Wales Museum designed and built to represent the ancient and medieval architectural styles of Western India and also visit the beaches of Bombay.
  Meals: Breakfast.

• Day 3 : Bombay – Cochin (Fly)

  Afternoon transfer to Bombay airport to take your morning flight for Cochin. At Cochin airport our representative, with your name placard, will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building and drive you to your hotel. Check - in at the hotel. Evening at leisure.
  Meals: Breakfast.

• Day 4 : Cochin

  Today we go for a sight seeing tour of Cochin. Cochin the queen of the Arabian Sea is one of the most interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. A root-conscious people of Kerala have preserved their past not only in the form of history books but also in the form of monuments and palaces. Places, palaces and institutions of historic value are being preserved conscientiously. Jewish Synagogue: Built in A D 1568. Great scrolls of the Old Testament (Bible) and copper plates in which the grants of privilege to Jews from Cochin rulers were carved are preserved here. Mattancherry Palace: Also known as Dutch Palace. Built by Portuguese and handed over to Cochin Raja in 1555 AD. Rooms adjacent display 17th century murals depicting scenes from the epic, the Ramayana.

• Day 5 : Cochin – Periyar [Thekkady] (190 Kms. / Approx. 4 ½ hrs. drive)

  After Breakfast, Today you will be transferred to Periyar, the famous wildlife destination of Kerala. Evening enjoy the boat cruise through the Periyar Lake. One of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close range; The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear resemblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Even a casual visitor to this place will not fail to observe the special ecological pattern of Thekkady! Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 6 : Periyar

  After Breakfast, full day explore the wildlife of Kerala. By morning proceed for 03 hrs. guided trekking at the sanctuary. Afternoon visit the spice plantation & enjoy boating at Lake Periyar to spot the wild animals near the lake. The Thekkady sanctuary is one of the best in the country for watching and photographing wild life. A cruise through the waters of Periyar Lake around which the wildlife sanctuary is situated, offers a soul-stirring pleasant experience. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar remains the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lake's edge. The tiger and leopard are sighted when the forest water holes dry up and these animals come and drink water from the river. Overnight at the Resort.

• Day 7 : Periyar – Alleppey Houseboat (110 Kms. / Approx. 4 hrs. drive)– Kumarakom

  After breakfast, check out from the resort & proceed to Alleppey, which is famous for its backwater & scenic beauty, sprinkled with traditional houseboats, country crafts, rural lifestyles and Tranquility. On arrival at Alleppey check in at Houseboat. Enjoy your lunch, dinner & breakfast in the Houseboat. Enjoying a cruise in these backwaters is not to be missed, as it leaves you feeling fully rejuvenated. The banks of these backwaters in Kerala are the most enchanting picnic spots. You get to experience the native way of living. Overnight at the Houseboat.

• Day 8 : Kumarakom – Cochin (65 Kms. / Approx. 2 Hrs.drive)- Bombay

  After breakfast, check out from the Houseboat and proceed to Cochin Airport for flight to Bombay. Arrive Bombay and transfer to international airport for your onward journey.
