WOW Baikal Day Tour is a day which you will remember for sure! We will see the lake from the height of bird flight, dive into the depths of the world's deepest lake and after that enjoy traditional Russian sauna. The tour may include other seasonal activities (winter: dog-sledding, snowmobiling, hovercraft ride; summer: speedboat ride) on your request. MAIN HIGHLIGHTS See the lake from the height of bird Dive into the depth of Baikal Try dishes from famous omul fish Enjoy traditional Russian steam sauna 10:00 Departure from Irkutsk We pick you up from any point you requested. 10:30 Arrival at the airport From here we will start our journey to the lake. We will see it from the height of 200-500 meters, and will fly to Sandy (Peschanaya) Bay. It is a scenic way by the western side of the lake. Also we can change itinerary up to your wishes. 12:00 Landing in Listvyanka, transfer to the diving center. First, you will have basic instructions how to dive and to use the provided equipment. Baikal is one of the hardest diving spots in the world, and today you will experience it! 13:00 Diving Session with Certified instructor After the short training you will take on diving equipment and will go into the depth. If you have no diving cetificate, you will dive up to 8 m, if you have beginner's diving certificate, you will dive up to 16 m, followed by instructor. The diving session is around 20-30 minutes. 14:00 Lunch with local dishes cooked from omul fish We stop at one of the most popular cafes serving local dishes. During summer we can have a lunch right at the lake shore. 15:30 Traditional Russian Sauna (Banya) right at the shore of Lake Baikal. We going now to the Russian steam sauna, located at the shore of the lake. Time to relax and to enjoy warm steam and birch branches 17:30 Departure from Listvyanka We depart from the sauna to Irkutsk 18:30 Arrival in Irkutsk We arrive to Irkutsk and drop you off to where you need.
