The food was very well done and varied. Camp was set up for us and spacious. I was a little nervous concerning the lack of protection on the parks but we had no incidents. All in all well done if a bit pricey.We had a great time. Mostly the animals were amazing, which Jose and our drivers either found for us or were directed too. While that was mostly out of their control, what was in their control was well done.

We are very happy with the support from the professional crew of guides, porters and cook under the able stewardship of main guides Michael, Peter and Elia. They supported us in all areas (quality equipment, excellent food, close monitoring of our health & great company) ensuring that we were safe till the 12th July 2020 when we made it to Uhuru Peak – the summit of Kilimanjaro. 4 brothers and I recently did six days private Machame route Kilimanjaro trek with Kitano Tours And Safaris and we have no regrets for choosing to go with them as they made our dream of conquering Kilimanjaro finally come trueKilimanjaro is off our bucket list and we could not have achieved the stripes without the support and care of this brilliant crew. This experience was out of this world! The company, the guides, and everyone else involved exceeded all of my expectations! Peter was our main guide and Julius was our secondary guide. They were both exceptional! Their main goal was to make sure we make it to the top and they did everything possible to make it happen. We all sumitted without any issues and I will most definitely never forget this experience! Highly recommend Kitano Tours And Safaris. Very professional company and known by everyone in the area. I heard a lot of positive feedback about them after the fact and I can definitely see why. Highly recommend Peter and Julius as well. They were my faborite part of the experience.
