Package Overview

Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. To the north, Subhash Baoli is a peaceful area with pine trees and panoramic views.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Pathankot to Dalhousie (By Road) Duration 02/03 hrs. approx.

Arrival and Pathankot railway station and transfer to Dalhousie overnight stay at Dalhousie.

Afternoon visit:

Activities same day at Dalhousie: Local sight seeing of Dalhousie, Jandhrighat Palace, Subhash Bowli, Bara Pathar, Panjphulla, Subhash Chownk, GPO Dalhousie, Satdhara and the last but not least Old Churches of Dalhousie, Must eat Gulab Jamun at Café Dalhousie, Walk from GPO to Subhash Chownk through Thandi Sarak, also visit to D C Khanna Grocery shop.

Dinner in the hotel.

Day 2

Dalhousie – Khajjiar

After Breakfast we shall depart for Khajjiar known as Mini Switzerland of India, on the way to Khajjiar we shall stop at Kalatop (A Nature walk suggestive here from Kalatop toll Bridge to Kalatop Rest House) and there after to Khajjiar and after full day excursion shall back to Dalhousie for the overnight stay.

Activities at Khajjiar: – Horse riding, Zorbing, Nature walks suggestive here in betweens the trees, must visit to the KHAJJI NAGA TEMPLE there.

Day 3

Dalhousie – Chamba

Bhuri Singh Museum

After Breakfast shall leave for Chamba via Banikhet (must stop for Chamera Dam View Spot) reach Chamba and by the evening shall back to Dalhousie for the overnight stay.

Activities at Chamba: Famous Luxmi Narayana Temple, Chamunda Temple, India Second built Hydel power project Bhuri Singh Hydel Project, Bhuri Singh Museum, Hari Rai Temple, Shopping of Chamba Shawls, Chamba Chappal, Chamba Rumal, Chamba Chuck, Chamba Jaris and the last but not least river point.

Breakfast & Dinner in the hotel.

Day 4

Dalhousie – Pathankot (By Road) Duration 02/03 hrs. approx.

After breakfast and later transfer for Pathankot Railway station for dropping please for the onwards journey to way back home.
