Chamera Dam is an earthen dam in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is built over the River Ravi and was constructed as a hydroelectricity project. The total catchment area of this huge dam is 472.5 sq. km. Its construction has led to the solution of many issues like the shortage of electricity and other water problems. A lot of tourists visit this site to spend some good quality time.
