Chitwan District is one of 77 districts of Nepal, Nestled at the foot of the Himalayas, Chitwan has a particularly rich flora and fauna and is home to one of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal Tiger.

Day 1

ARRIVE KATHMANDU

Upon arrival at airport / railway station meet our representative for onwards assistance. Proceed towards hotel. Evening free. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2

KATHMANDU - POKHARA (210km / 7hrs)

Pashupatinath Temple

After breakfast check out from Kathmandu hotel. Drive start towards Pokhara. Visit of the Hindu culture in Nepal, Pashupatinath. This is the place where holy saddhus pray and cremations on the Bagmati River are carried out, later proceed to the holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal, Bouddhanath, with its large stupa, this is the place where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage. Later proceed to Pokhara. Enroute you have option to do river rafting in Trishuli River or enjoy Cable Car riding at Manokamna Temple (optional cost). Reach Pokhara. check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

Day 3

POKHARA

After breakfast excursion to Sarangkot is the most popular tourist destination from where the tourist can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the mountains, Paragliding can also be done from Sarangkot (optional cost). Later proceed to Bindabashini temple, Mahadev cave, Seti Gorge & Davis fall – also known as Pattale Chango & Tibetan refugee camp- A Tibetian Refugee settlement and Mountain Museum. Evening you can enjoy a boat ride on Fewa Lake (optional cost). Back to Hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 4

POKHARA - CHITWAN (170km/5-6hrs)

Complete breakfast at hotel and check out. Later drive to Chitwan National Wild Life reserve forest. Reach Chitwan & check in Resort. Evening Jeep Safari (optional cost), Visit Elephant breeding center. Evening Tharu Cultural Program. overnight Resort.

Day 5

CHITWAN - KATHMANDU (185km/6hrs)

Breakfast at hotel and check out. Transfer to Kathmandu. Check in to the hotel. Evening free for own (you can go to local market for shopping, Nepalies crafts, garments and other things). Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

DEPARTURE

All Hotels was excellent. Agency coordination was also good. My complaint on the driver only, name Rajesh Sikhawat was not good person, his talking way was not well always doing unnecessary arguments. Mr Santanu from SUNBIRD always trying to control his way but he didn't listen to anyone. Otherwise SUNBIRD services was good.
