Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok (130km/4.5 hrs drive)

  Your traverse will begin as you step out of IXB of Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway station where our representative will greet you with welcoming smile. Further, he will guide your transfer to the marvellous paradise in the capital of Sikkim, Gangtok. As there is no adventure planned for you on this day, you can simply check in the pre-booked room of a spectacular hotel and unwind yourself with a hot cup of tea and warm aura of the place. However, if you find yourself too eager to explore the local lifestyle with your soulmate, you can go for an evening stroll in the local market. During the night, have hot piping supper and hit the hay leisurely.

• Day 2 : Gangtok ( Tsomgo Lake Excursion and Baba Harbhajan Mandir)

  It is the second day of your honeymoon, and you have to be ready early in the morning because it’s the day you never want to forget. After 3 hours long drive, you will reach your first stop, that is, the Tsomgo Lake. You and your partner will be incredibly blessed to witness the jaw-dropping beauty of this sacred place. This magnificent lake with arresting mountain scenery, a pleasant climate and cloudy aura will be a pleasure for your eyes.
  
  Moreover, it is that exquisite hotspot where you will feel the love between your best half and you. Do not stop yourself from clicking some amazing pictures. Your next stop will be a shrine which is worshipped as the remembrance of great Indian Army Soldier, Captain Harbhajan Singh. Apart from celebrating the proud life of the soldier, this shrine is a salute to the entire Indian army which protects us from the vulturous eyes of the enemies.
  
  You can also make a visit to another breathtaking location, Nathula Pass which was once used as a stop for trading between Tibet and India. Enjoy the scenic view of the highest pass with your soulmate by paying an extra charge on the same day. This is an optional tour hence not mandatory to be taken.
  
  Get back to the hotel where you can spend the tender moments with your love. Have your delicious dinner and sleep peacefully in a warm bed.

• Day 3 : Gangtok – Lachung(116 km/6 hrs drive)

  Today, it is time for you to proceed to a splendid village Lachung which is known for its tall mountains, mesmerising glacier waterfalls and stunning orchards. This ravishing hamlet is in the northern part of Sikkim at the altitude of 8800 ft. Before your departure to this majestic destination, you will be served a mouth-watering breakfast. Make sure you eat light and are full as you are going to explore the most pleasing tourist hotspot on the way.
  
  During the 6 hours long journey, you will stop to witness the magical scenery of nature at Singhik Viewpoint. Feel the bond between your partner and you as you unobstructedly observe the snowy peaks of Mt Khangchendzonga and Mt Siniolchu. Moreover, you will also visit spellbinding Seven Sisters waterfalls flowing from the top of the mountain harmoniously. In the alluring sound of gurgling falls, you can sense the epitome of love between each other.
  
  After spectating the marvellous grandeur of nature, you will stop at a mountainous hamlet Namok for lunch. Furthermore, you will have a short tea break at Chungthang which is a small village at the confluence of Lachen and Lachung River. As the end of this short journey, you will check in your pre-booked hotel in Lachung. You must be extremely tired after this hectic day. Therefore have your tasty dinner in the lodge itself and have a sound sleep with your love.

• Day 4 : Lachung – Yumthang Valley (24 km/1 hr drive)– Lachung – Gangtok

  Today, you need to dress your best because you will visit delightfully romantic sights where you could not stop yourself from clicking pictures. First, you will reach the kingdom of heaven after an hour-long drive, that is, Yumthang Valley. The enthralling attractiveness of the valley will leave you bewitched as you notice the bountiful and colourful variety of flowers that give it the title of ‘The Valley of Flowers’. Other than the intriguing diversity of flora including a collection of Rhododendron trees, you will be fascinated by the range of animals such as Yaks, Billy goats, and horses. This paradise will create the memories full of tenderness as you come close to the prepossessing nature.
  
  To have a delicious mid-day meal, you will be taken back to the hotel where you can have the food served by gracious staff. Subsequently, you will depart back to the magnetising capital, Gangtok. On the way back, spot the beautification of Bheema and Twin Falls. Spend some time looking into the eyes of your other half as you hear the sploshing sound of Twin Waterfalls.
  
  By the end of such a busy but memorable day, you will reach Gangtok where you will check in the hotel to have your dinner and peaceful sleep.

• Day 5 : Gangtok – Darjeeling (4 Hours Drive/110 KM)

  It is the 5th day of your captivating tour. You need to wake up early in the morning because today you will depart to the captivating and charming tourist destination, Darjeeling. After 4 hours of long drive, you will reach Darjeeling which is a beguiling hill station of the country in the Northern- East part where locals welcome you with smiling faces and warm hearts. Today is all about leisure and slothfulness. Therefore, as you reach here, check in at your hotel and spend the remaining time at leisure.
  After getting re-energised you can wander in the Mall Road or Chowrasta and shop for your loved ones. Get your hands on some souvenirs which will keep the memories of this romantic honeymoon alive. Later, you can directly come back to the hotel to relax for your big day tomorrow.

• Day 6 : Darjeeling (Full day local sightseeing)

  To start your day beautifully, you need to wake up quite early in the morning because you are going to see a mind-boggling sight from Tiger Hill. As the first ray of sun hits the 3rd highest peak, Mt Kanchenjunga, a blissful aura surrounds you to enlighten the love between you and your soulmate.
  
  As you head back, visit the oldest Buddhist Monastery, Ghoom Monastery on your way. At this holy place, you will see many images of Buddha deities and lamas along with many Buddha Manuscripts. Following this, you will pay a call at Batasia Loop via local steam train ride. This railway loop over a hilltop is one of the most solicitous tourist hotspots from here you can witness the glorious view of the Great Himalaya.
  After having your breakfast, you will gain more knowledge and stories about mountaineering at Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and discover methods of preservation and conservation of Himalayan fauna at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park which remains closed on Thursdays. Moreover, you can practice rock climbing with your spouse at Tenzing Rock and witness the beautiful tea plantation and click some fantastic pictures with your partner at the Chitrey Tea Garden. Gain spirituality to have a prosperous married life ahead on your visit to the Japanese Temple- a Japanese shrine that offers an excellent mountain view and Peace Pagoda- a Buddhist monument established to inspire peace.
  
  By the end of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel in Darjeeling. If you still have some energy left, you can go for an evening walk at Chowrasta and Mall Road. Later, have a good night sleep in the warmth and love of your consort.
