Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok (130 km/4 hrs drive)

  As soon as you step out of XIB at Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station with your partner, our representative will be there to welcome you with open arms. To ease your jaunt, the representative will also guide you for your transfer to the place of astonishing beauty and the kingdom of paradise, Gangtok. After 4 hours of long drive, you will be in the city of cleanliness and unspoiled natural attractions. Furthermore, you will be taken to your pre-booked hotel where you can spend the rest of the day in tranquillity and affection with your spouse. If you want to explore the local lifestyle and still have some energy left, you can also visit MG Marg for an evening stroll. By the end of the day, you will be served a delectable dinner in the hotel room after which you can sleep peacefully with your love.

• Day 2 : Gangtok ( Full day local sightseeing)

  It is the second day of your exotic honeymoon and, today; it is all about discovering the local sights of Gangtok. Therefore, have your delicious breakfast and kickstart your day with great enthusiasm. First, you will be taken to a mesmerising wide waterfall on the roadside, Bakthang Waterfalls. Nearby, we have Tashi View Point from where your better half and you can discern majestic snow-capped mountain peaks of the Great Himalayas. Next destination is the Ganesh Tok, a colourful sacred place where you can pray for your prosperous relationship ahead while enjoying a picturesque view of the majestic mountain ranges. To acquire more blessings, you can make a visit to Enchey Monastery which is a transcendental Buddhist Temple existing for more than 200 years now surrounded by the panoramic view. Furthermore, you will pay your call to the centre of local artwork and creativity of residents of Sikkim at Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom.
  
  The day is not done yet because your next station is Do Drul Chorten Stupa, the biggest stupa in Sikkim is the symbol of peace as reflected by the two statues of Guru Rimpoche. To know more about Tibetan culture and tradition, you can visit the Institute of Tibetology where you will find Tibetan manuscripts, artefacts and sculptures of ancient times. Apart from it, you will witness the most delightful artwork of nature as you visit the International Flower Show in Gangtok. The Flower Exhibition Center consists of a plethora of different species of flowers collected from every corner of the state. Tourists from across the world visit this place to see the appealing variety of flowers preserved by the locals and, now, you can perceive this too. Subsequently, you will be taken to the impressive artistry of creation at Banjhakri Falls where you will reach via Ropeways through which you can observe the bird-view of Gangtok.
  
  After such a busy day, you and your spouse must be tired. Therefore, unwind yourself as soon as you come back to the hotel with hot piping food and spend the night peacefully with your partner.

• Day 3 : Gangtok ( Tsomgo Lake Excursion and Baba Mandir)

  Today, you must get ready at 8 o’clock in the morning because after 3 hours long driving; you will catch the sight of a speechless view at alluring Tsomgo Lake. This sacred place is at a high altitude, surrounded by lush green forests. This blend of the lake’s water with the natural beauty around it makes the site all the more beautiful. You will surely love the spark of romance between you and your beloved as you’ll witness this enchanting charm. Your next destination is an epitome of Indian Army’s bravery and dedication, Baba Harbhajan Mandir. The story of Captain Harbhajan Singh will leave you with no words. The young captain died while serving at the border as he tried to save a group of mules. It is said that his soul still protects the soldiers posted in the nearby areas.
  
  To enhance the adventure of your trip, you can visit Nathula Pass which was once used as a stop for trade between Tibet and India. The place offers an arresting landscape view of snowy mountains of both China and India. This is an optional tour which can be the icing on the cake for your honeymoon that you can enjoy by paying an extra amount.
  
  By the end of the third day of your journey, you will be served tempting food as you come back to the hotel. Spend this last night in Gangtok at the hotel with your consort and take a complete rest because the following day includes travelling for a few hours.

• Day 4 : Gangtok – Darjeeling (4 Hours Drive/110 KM)

  Have your delicious breakfast because today you have to depart for an enthralling location in West Bengal. After a 4 hours long drive, you will visit a captivating and prominent tourist destination, Darjeeling. The most amazing part of this place is its affable population that treats tourists with cordiality. Other than this, you will be at a loss for words when you observe the mystical beauty of this enrapturing hill station.
  
  Later in the evening, as you check in the hotel, you will be served mouth-watering dinner so that you can sleep soundly to calm yourself for awaiting adventure.

• Day 5 : Darjeeling (Full day local sightseeing)

  On the 5th day of your excursion, you will have the most romantic time with your soulmate as you will get up at the crack of dawn to witness the idyllic scenery from Tiger Hill. From this pleasing viewpoint, you can see the heavenly picture of sunrise as the first ray of sun will fit the snowy peak of Mt. Kanchenjunga which is the world’s 3rd highest peak.
  On the way back to the hotel, you will make a visit to an old Buddhist shrine where you can find one of the biggest and oldest Buddha sculptures, that is, the Ghoom Monastery. Apart from that, you will pay your call at a pretty railway loop at Batasia Loop. At this station, you wouldn’t stop yourself from clicking pictures and selfies with your better half as this place presents you the majestic view of Himalayan peaks.
  As you come back to the hotel, have your breakfast because after that you will visit more exciting locations.
  
  First, you will be taken to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute where you will learn about mountaineering adventures through inspiring stories of mountaineers. Subsequently, you will be taken to observe the bountiful flora and fauna of the Himalayas at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park which remains closed on Thursdays. To practice or watch the skills of rock climbing, you can enlighten your adventure as you visit Tenzing Rock. Later, you will experience the fragrance of fresh tea leaves and dews of rejuvenation without which your trip to Darjeeling will go wasted, at Chitrey Tea Garden. Followed by this we have Japanese temple which is an adequate place for newlyweds like you to be blessed by the divine power. Next, you will go and seek peace at Peace Pagoda- a delightful Japanese construction that proffers its tourists the tranquillity they desire.
  
  Finally, after such a hectic yet pleasant day, you will go back to the hotel to get some relaxation. If you would like, you can go for a stroll with your soulmate at local Mall Road or Chowrasta and buy some memorable things as the souvenir of this unforgettable vacation.
