Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : 1-Day Madurai – Thekkady – Madurai e 53 Seater AC Luxury

  05:00 AM Madurai Pickup & Departure Your chauffeur and assistant will pick up the group. The mandatory, extremely early start is set for the long transit. Reclining Seats and Individual AC Vents ensure maximum rest for 53 passengers during the 4-hour morning transit. Two drivers are mandatory for safety.
  09:00 AM Arrival at Thekkady (Aanavachal Parking) Arrive at the designated main parking area outside the core reserve. Proceed immediately to collect tickets/tokens. The coach must be parked at the main Aanavachal Parking Area, as it is too large to enter the reserve zone.
  09:30 AM – 11:30 AM Activity 1: Spice Plantation Tour Engage in a 2-hour guided walking tour of a local spice plantation near the parking area. The dedicated attendant manages group flow and timing with strict precision.
  11:30 AM – 01:00 PM Group Lunch & Transfer Prep Quick, pre-arranged group lunch. Move swiftly to the internal bus pickup point. The group MUST transfer to the Periyar Tiger Reserve’s internal buses for the 4 km journey to the boat landing point.
  01:45 PM – 03:15 PM Activity 2: Periyar Lake Boat Safari Experience the 90-minute boat ride (1:45 PM slot). CRITICAL: Boat tickets must be secured online well in advance for a group of 53.
  03:45 PM Immediate Departure (Internal Bus & Coach) Group returns via internal bus to the coach at Aanavachal Parking. Immediate departure for Madurai. Strictly no time for leisure or shopping. The coach departs immediately upon group re-boarding.
  07:30 PM – 08:00 PM Dinner Break (En-route) Quick stop at a suitable large highway restaurant (e.g., near Theni/Cumbum) for a group dinner.
  10:30 PM – 11:30 PM Madurai Drop-off Drop-off at your desired location in Madurai, concluding the highly demanding 1-day luxury tour.
