Day 1

Shitlakhet

Once you get there, check in to the preselected hotel as per the confirmed itinerary in Shitlakhet. There are plenty of choices for the accommodation you may choose.

Visit the Syahi Devi Temple, a historic shrine to the regional deity that provides sweeping views of the hills and woodlands in the area. Eat lunch at a neighbourhood eatery and sample some Kumaoni food.
Around 7 miles from Shitlakhet, see the Katarmal Sun Temple. This historic temple, which honours the Sun God, is renowned for its elaborate carvings and architecture.
Return back to the hotel once more and relax for the evening.

Shitlakhet

Go for a nature walk or a hike in the neighbouring hills as soon as you wake up.

Check out after eating breakfast at your hotel.

Spend some time visiting the Baijnath Temple, which is around 18 kilometres from Shitlakhet. This ancient temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and is renowned for its exquisite sculptures and architecture.
Take a trip to the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is around 25 kilometres from Shitlakhet. The Himalayan black bear, barking deer, and several bird species are among the many flora and fauna found in this lovely wildlife reserve.
After eating lunch at a neighbourhood eatery, move on to your next stop.
