In this tour you will explore Adi Kailash & Om Parvat. Adi Kailash, also known as Shiva Kailash, Chota Kailash, Baba Kailash or Jonglingkong Peak, is a mountain located in the Himalayan mountain range in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. The region around Adi Kailash is known for its breathtaking landscapes, challenging trekking routes, and spiritual atmosphere.

Om Parvat is a mountain located in Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand, India. Om Parvat's peak elevation is 5,590 m above sea level. Om Parvat is known for its unique rock formation that resembles the sacred Hindu symbol 'Om' (ॐ) when viewed. Om Parvat situated on the borders of three countries; India, Nepal and Tibet and still the spiritually significant shape of OM Is visible only form India. The Shiva Puran describes that OM originated before the universe's formation.

We start journey from Haldwani / Kathgodam to Jageshwar, Pithoragarh, Chaukori, Patal Bhubaneswar along with Kalapani, Kuti, Om Parvat and Adi Kailash. And back to origin point from where we had started.
Travel towards Adi-Kailash from Chhiyalekh, Gunji, Nabi, Kutti see the breath-taking view of the Himalayan peaks. During the Adi Kailash Darshan trip come across the beauty of the snow peaks mountain Nampha, Tinker and Ganesha parvat by western Nepal’s Himalayan peak.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Kathgodam / Haldwani - Jageshwar

Upon arrival meet our representative and start towards Jageshwar (130km/4-5hrs). Break for freshen-up at Bhimtal. TRansfer to Jageshwar. Jageshwar is considered as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Jageshwar is a cluster of more than 100 stone temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which have inspired its popular name, “Valley of Gods”. Overnight stay.

Day 2

Jageshwar - Dharchula

Morning go for Puja at Jageshwar dham temple. After breakfast Later transfer towards Dharchula (185km/5-6hrs). Check in to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 3

Dharchula - Gunji

Here complete your health check up and take Inner line permit. Later proceed to Gunji or Nabi, both are small villages (75km/2-3hrs). Overnight stay.

Note: Homestays / Camps are very ordinary/economical at Gunji / Nabi, common toilet/washroom. You must aware of this.

Day 4

Gunji - Parwati Kund - Gunji

Early morning proceed towards Jyolingkong (40 km) (permit check by authority) enroute cross Ganesh Nala-very scary road / Ganesh Parvat, (at Jyolingkong, in army camp you can take a break with some food and check your health) from here 2 kms trek to Parvati Sarovar (you can take bath) / Parwati Kund & Adi Kailash. Visit other places - Kunti Parvat, Village Kuti (local tax applicable), Return back to Gunji / Nabi. Overnight stay.

Note: Adi Kailash darshan yatra route is not smooth, road condition is very raff.

Day 5

Gunji - Om Parvat - Gunji

Drive from Gunji to Kalapani (permit + ID proof check by authority) to Navidhang towards Om Parvat darshan (35km / 45 min by vehicle). Om Parvat with the natural shape of snow ॐ (Aum) in Om Parvat, At Om Parvat we will do Darshan/ puja/meditation and return back to Nabi / Gunji.

Note: Journey should be very carefully, there may be happen landslide on road. You can feel too much cold weather arround Om Parvat, so take the necessary precaution.

Day 6

Nabi - Dharchula

Early morning see the panoramic beauty of Adi Kailash and take the breath of spiritual feelings and memory of Lord Shiva. Visit Parvati Temple which is by trek for 3 km from the camp site. Later transfer to Dharchula. Overnight stay.

Day 7

Dharchula - Patal Bhunaeswar

After breakfast check out from Dharchula and transfer to Patal Bhubaneswar (140km / 4-5hrs). It is said in Skanda Purana that Lord Shiva resides in Patal Bhuvaneshwar, and it's this place where all the gods and goddesses come to worship him. Visit Patal Bhuvaneshwar temple, Patala Bhuvaneshwar Caves. Overnight stay.

Note: Adi Kailash Yatra ends at Patal Bhubaneswar, so you must visit Patal Bhubaneswar.

Day 8

Patal Bhuvaneshwar - Almora

Almora Hills

Check out from Patal Bhubaneswar and transfer towards Almora (110km/3-4hrs). Visit Nanda Devi Temple, Chitai Golu Devta Temple, Simtola, Kasar Devi. Overnight stay.

1. Adi Kailash trip traveling in high altitude area so you must be physically fit to travel in such area & must complete proper medical check-up before applying.
2. During yatra the weather turns sometimes very bad, sometimes covered with cloud and started raining. So take necessary precaution.
3. Everyone must have a valid Govt issued id proof (Aadhaar Card / Passport / Voter Card / DrivingLicence). ILP (inner line permit) and ID proof check at every check post by authority.
4. Physically fit person from age of 18 Years to 70 Years is eligible for Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Trip.
5. This trip is being conducted in Himalayan region part. In case of any natural calamity / Act of God / An emergency travel/rescue by Helicoper service cost will be borne by the Guest, as permission of district administration.
6. Foreign origin / foreign citizenship of any other person barred by the rule of Government of India will not been eligible for this trip.

Adi Kailash Permit:

1. Towards Adi Kailash & Om Parvatr trek everyone require an Inner line permit, By District Magistrate's or Sub-Divisional Magistrate's office in Pithoragarh,
2. Valid government-issued ID proof. 2-3 passport-size photos. Physical fitness certificate from a MBBS doctor. Notarized affidavit on Rs 30 stamp paper for Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra.
3. The age limit for Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra is 5 years to 80 years, so children under 5 years are not allowed on the Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra. All the People who are physically fit & come in the age limit can go for Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Darshan.

All Hotels was excellent. Agency coordination was also good. My complaint on the driver only, name Rajesh Sikhawat was not good person, his talking way was not well always doing unnecessary arguments. Mr Santanu from SUNBIRD always trying to control his way but he didn't listen to anyone. Otherwise SUNBIRD services was good.
