11 Day 5 Rivers Paradise Safari Package

On your first day you will fly from Maun Airport to Kwara, deep in the clear permanent waters of the Okavango Delta. Time at Kwara will reveal why the Delta, with all its remarkable plant, bird and animal life, is so unique in the world. You will stay for 2 nights at Kwara Camp on a fully inclusive basis.

As Kwara Camp lies just outside the boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve, you will be able to experience boat cruises, mokoro (dug out canoe) trips, walks, and game drives that can operate both off road and at night – all year round. You will also have the opportunity for fishing except in January and February.

After a morning activity and a leisurely breakfast, today you will fly to Lebala, hidden in the southern portion of the extensive Kwando wilderness of 232, 000 hectares. The spacious and beautifully decorated tents will be a home from home for the next 2 nights with all meals and activities included.

Today you will explore this outstanding game-viewing area which is a labyrinth of waterways, reed beds, islands, floodplains, bush, scrub and trees. You will be able to drive off-road in search of that perfect photo opportunity, and you will also have a night drive to spot some of the nocturnal animals.

As part of your morning activity today, your game drive will take you in a northerly direction. You will change vehicles at a welcome stop off for refreshments by a hippo filled waterhole before continuing your game drive to Lagoon, where you will be accommodated for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

In this vast private concession you will enjoy your game drives both off road and at night. On your evening boat cruise you can watch the sunset from the comfort of the double deck boat as you head slowly along the winding Kwando River.

After brunch today you will be transferred by boat to Lianshulu, located on a private concession within the borders of the Mudumu national Park in the Caprivi region of Namibia. You will be accommodated for a 2 night stay with all meals provided.

You will take part in early morning and afternoon game drives as well as guided walks. The area is a lush wilderness of riverine forest, marsh and open woodland, providing a home for an abundance of wildlife. You will also have an opportunity on morning and afternoon boat cruises to view the animals and birdlife from a different perspective, and perhaps do some fishing on a catch and release basis.

After a magical 2 nights at Lianshulu you will be transferred today by boat and road to Bwabwata National Park, also in the Caprivi strip, where you will stay at Susuwe Island Lodge with full board for 2 nights.

Susuwe offers you the opportunity to closely experience a wild and untouched island of
Africa. The lodge is located on the banks of the Kwando River – a permanent water source which sustains varied game and birdlife. The birds and game in the area can be viewed from the water on a boat cruise or via game drive vehicle – either way you will be able to enjoy this beautiful and remote area and all it has to offer.

After your morning activity today, you will fly to Kasane Airport by light aircraft, where this part of your unforgettable journey will end.
