Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN SRINAGAR + LOCAL

  Day Services: Dinner, Stay and Car
  Major Attraction: Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Chashma Shahi, Pari mahal and Shankaracharya Temple
  
  Welcome to Srinagar - The Lake City! Upon arriving at Srinagar airport meet our representative and get transferred to the pre-booked Houseboat. After fresh up indulge in local sightseeing of Srinagar. Places to cover will be Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Chashma Shahi, Pari mahal and Shankaracharya Temple. Evening will be free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in houseboat
  
  Standard check in Time 12:00PM and early check in will be subject to availability and extra cost will be applicable as per the hotelier policy.

• Day 2 : GULMARG DAY TRIP (52 KMS 1-2 HRS |One side)

  Day Services: Breakfast, Dinner, Stay and Car
  Major Attraction: Gulmarg to kungdoor, Kungdoor to Affarwatt(Extra Cost)
  
  After breakfast proceed towards Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers). Enjoy natural beautiful surroundings, pony rides and gondola rides (on your own expenses) Gondala Ride have two phases - Gulmarg to kungdoor (Phase 1) and Kungdoor to Affarwatt (Phase 2). Another place to explore in Gulmarg will be Golf club which has been into existence for hundreds of years. In the evening drive back Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 3 : PAHALGAM DAY TRIP (93 KMS/ 2-3 HRS |One side)

  Major attraction: Chandanwadi Betaab Aru Valley
  
  After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherd). On the way do not miss the sightseeing of Sun Temple. The ruins of this temple traces back to era of Pandavas and believed to be the construction of 370-500 AD. If one wishes to add more places to their tour, feel free to go ahead to Chandanwadi, Aru, Betaab Valley (Sightseeings on your expenses). In evening return to Srinagar hotel for a cozy night stay.

• Day 4 : SRINAGAR – SONMARG – KARGIL (125 KMS/5-6 HRS)

  Major Attraction: Sonmarg Zojila Pass Drass Valley
  
  Enjoy your morning meal and proceed to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). After spending sometime in Sonmarg, drive to Kargil via Zojila pass and Drass Valley. On the way catch the glimpses of famous Tiger Hill Tololing which played an important role in Kargil War. Kargil War Memorial will be another interesting place to cover enroute. Reach Kargil town and check into the hotel.

• Day 5 : KARGIL – LAMYURU – MAGNETIC HILL – LEH (218 KMS/ 7-8 HRS)

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel and hit the roads to Leh. We will make our way through Mulbek, Namika La, Fotula La, Lamayuru, Khaltse and uleytokpo. Highlights of the tour will be Alchi Monastery, Magnetic Hill and river rafting at Neemu (Sangam point of Indus and Zanskar river). Resume your trip to cover Gurudwara Pather Sahib and hall of fame museum enroute. Reach Leh and check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 6 : IN & AROUND LEH

  Major Attraction: Spituk Sindhu Ghat Shanti Stupa Central Asian Museum
  
  After breakfast cover the spots in and around Leh. Major tourist attractions to cover will be Spituk Gompa, Sindhu Ghat, 3 idiot Rancho school, Druk Padma shey, Stok Palace and Central Asian Museum and Market. Return to hotel for Overnight stay.

• Day 7 : LEH – KHARDONG LA – NUBRA (160 KMS / 5-6 HRS)

  Major Attraction: Khardungla Pass Hunder Village
  
  Early Morning, check out from the hotel and head on to Nubra Valley. We will drive by the famous Khardong La which is one of the highest Motorable passes in the world situated at an altitude of 5359m. Other places to cover enroute will be Diskit & Hunder Villages. While visiting these villages do not forget to take a ride on Double hump Bactarian camels (ride on your own). Reach the destination and spend the night in pre-booked camps

• Day 8 : NUBRA – LEH RETURN

  Major Attraction: Sumoor Gompa
  
  After delicious breakfast drive back to Leh while enroute covering Sumoor Gompa. This colourful Gompa set in the midst of rough mountains and scanty trees makes the landscape even more picture perfect. Reach Leh and check into the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.

• Day 9 : LEH – CHANG LA PASS – PANGONG (222 KMS/ 8-9 HRS)

  After Breakfast, check out from the hotel and pass through one of the Highest Motorable road in the world i.e. Changla Pass (5360 m) to reach Pangong Lake (4350 m). The clear water of this lake reflects sky color giving it a effect of changing colors from blue to turquoise/ light pink and so on throughout the day & night. Another amazing fact about this lake is that it freezes completely during winters despite being saline. Overnight stay will be in Pangong camps.

• Day 10 : PANGONG – LEH RETURN

  Today is the day to say goodbye to the land of mysterious and proceed to sarchu (4290 m). Reach the destination by evening and enjoy your stay at Sarchu Camps.

• TravelTrails have listed the maximum number of sightseeing that can be covered in a day. However, few places may not be possible to visit due to heavy snowfall / traffic jams/ limited time/ closed roads or monuments/ unforeseen incidents etc.

THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE TRAVEL

• Avoid travelling if you do not feel physically fit or check with your doctor before embarking for Leh Ladakh Trip.
• Please carry Identity Proofs (Driver License/Adhaar/PAN), Passport size Photographs and at least 5 photocopies of Permits.
• Since Leh Ladakh region is a remote area, do not forget to keep extra cash, battery backups.
• Carry AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) Relievers, Portable Oxygen Cylinders, Medical Kit, Hygiene and Cosmetic products.
• If symptoms of AMS persist, shift to lower altitude place. You can resume your trip as soon as you feel confident to move forward.
• Appetite and digestion changes with high altitude so stay hydrated and avoid heavy meals, smoking and alcohols.
• Carry Warm, comfortable and waterproof clothes along with some summer apparels.
• Leh Ladakh faces high connectivity issues and only Post-paid numbers (esp. BSNL nos.) work in this region.

Payment Terms & Methods :
For Himachal Package Package booking 50% advance payment required.
According to hotel policy especially in 4* and 5* we required 100% payment at the time of booking.
Remaining 50 % of the package cost will be collected on arrival (First day of the Tour).
For international packages 100% advance payment required at the time of booking.
For Train and Flight 100% advance payment required at the time of booking.
In case of non-payment either advance or remaining the company has full right to stop the services.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :
All the cancellations must be communicated in written.
Token amount is non refundable in any cases.
Cancellations made 15 Days prior to travel date will attract cancellation charges.
Cancellations charges will vary from 25 % - 50% of the total tour package cost.
100 % Retention charges will be levied for bookings canceled within 15 days of travel date or
No show scenarios.
No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other BBH services.
TravelTrails have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount i.e. 50% of the total tour Package Cost.
In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, TravelTrails will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
