Package Overview

Kenya has two faces. Most people only see one of them. The first is the interior, the great savannahs and lake escarpments, the dust of Amboseli, the long grass of the Mara, the shorebirds lifting from Lake Nakuru in drifts of pink. This is Kenya as people imagine it before they arrive, and it does not disappoint. The second face sits four hundred kilometres east, where the land runs out and the Indian Ocean begins. At Diani, the water is the colour of shallow reef, the beach is bone-white, and nothing moves quickly. The contrast with the bush is complete and deliberate, and that is precisely the point. This fifteen-day journey earns its coast days. You spend ten nights in the parks and reserves, moving at a pace that allows the Mara to become familiar before you leave it, then fly to the coast for five nights of full stillness. No game drives. No early alarms. Just the sound of the ocean and the accumulated pleasure of everything you have already seen. Kenya’s two faces, in one unhurried journey. Safari Highlights Four nights in the Masai Mara with multiple daily game drives in East Africa's finest wildlife reserve Big Five across three distinct ecosystems: savannah, Rift Valley lakes, and volcanic plains Large elephant herds and Kilimanjaro views across two full days in Amboseli Black and white rhino tracking in Lake Nakuru National Park An optional dawn hot air balloon flight above the Mara at first light A guided Maasai village visit — cultural encounter, not performance A scenic flight from the Mara airstrip to Mombasa — the bush to the ocean in under two hours Five nights at a beachfront property on Diani Beach, rated among East Africa's finest stretches of coast Snorkelling, reef walks, and deep-sea fishing available from your beach base Private 4x4 safari vehicle and dedicated guide for the entire land circuit Starting From $7,200 per person

Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 A Warm Welcome To The Safari Capital

Nairobi You are met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel in the city. The briefing is short. The welcome is warm. Tonight is for rest — tomorrow, Kenya begins in earnest. Fairmont, the Norfork

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 2 Drive To Amboseli

    Amboseli National Park
    Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park The drive south from Nairobi runs through Kajiado County, acacia scrubland widening into flat Maasai steppe as the city falls completely away. Kilimanjaro appears first as a suggestion on the horizon, pale and enormous above the cloud line, before the park gates bring you into Amboseli proper. Your first game drive begins in the afternoon, in a light that photographers spend entire careers chasing. Tawi Lodge

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 3 Explore Amboseli Diverse Landscape And Huge Herds Of Elephants

    Amboseli National Park
    Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park Two game drives (morning and evening) are structured around the hours the animals choose for themselves. Amboseli’s swamps anchor the park’s ecosystem: elephant herds, sometimes numbering in the hundreds, move through the wetlands throughout the day. The mountain is at its clearest at first light, before the equatorial heat builds its veil of haze. Tawi Lodge

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 4 Afternoon Boat Ride At Lake Naivasha

    Lake NaivashaLake NaivashaNaivasha
    Lake Naivasha
    Naivasha

Lake Naivasha You leave Amboseli’s dust and drive north into the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Naivasha in the early afternoon. The freshwater calm here is a different world to the savannah — this is a landscape of papyrus beds, yellow fever trees, and fish eagles so numerous their calls overlap. A boat ride on the lake is the afternoon’s only obligation. Naivasha Sopa Lodge

    Activities : Boat Safari

  • Day 5 Morning Walk Amidst Wildlife

    Lake NakuruNakuru
    Lake Nakuru
    Nakuru

Hell's Gate National Park A short morning visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, where walking among wildlife is permitted in a way that is rare in Kenya — zebra, eland, and giraffe at a pace set by your own feet, not a vehicle’s engine. You continue north to Lake Nakuru in the afternoon, arriving in time to settle in before the evening closes. Nakuru Sopa Lodge

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 6 A Black Rhino Haven And Spot The Tree-climbing Lions

    Nakuru
    Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park The park’s alkaline lake draws both white and black rhinos to its shores, alongside lions, leopards, and birdlife that shifts with the water levels each season. Two game drives (morning and afternoon) in a reserve compact enough to cover thoroughly in a single day. Nakuru Sopa Lodge

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 7 Into Kenya's Wildlife Crown Jewel

Masai Mara The road to the Mara passes through Narok and the wide Maasai territories that surround the reserve’s boundary. You arrive in time for lunch and an introductory game drive in the late afternoon, your first look at the landscape that will define the next four nights. Enkakenya Camp

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 8 Full Day In Search Of Big Cats Including Lions, Cheetahs And Leopard

Maasai Mara A day given entirely to game drives, morning and evening. The Mara’s predator density is among the highest on the continent — lion pride dynamics, cheetah hunts, and leopard in the riverine fig trees are daily possibilities rather than rare ones. Between drives, the afternoon light at your camp is worth sitting in without an agenda. Enkakenya Camp

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 9 A Day Dedicated To Cultural Interactions With The Maasai

    Mara River
    Mara River

Maasai Mara Your second full day in the reserve, shaped by what you have already seen and what the morning brings. If your visit falls between July and October, the wildebeest are present in their millions, and the Mara River crossings become a daily vigil. In the evening, a visit to a nearby Maasai village — arranged with the community, not as theatre. Enkakenya Camp

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 10 One Last Day To Explore The Majesty Of Mara

Maasai Mara This morning is optional and worth taking seriously: a pre-dawn departure for a hot air balloon flight above the Mara, drifting without engine noise above animals that have not noticed your presence. A champagne breakfast in the bush follows landing, after which one last game drive brings you back to camp to pack. Enkakenya Camp

    Activities : Game Drives

  • Day 11 Optional Hot-air Balloon Ride Before Flight To The Coast

    Diani Beach
    Diani Beach

Diani Beach A scenic transfer to the Mara airstrip and a light aircraft flight east — the bush giving way to highlands, then lowlands, then coast. You land at Ukunda Airstrip and are transferred to your beachfront property on Diani Beach. The Indian Ocean is twenty minutes away, and there is nothing else on the schedule today but arriving at it. Chale Island

    Activities : Beaches Sightseeing

  • Day 12 Immerse Yourself To Swahili Culture And The Prestine Beach

    Diani Beach
    Diani Beach

Diani Beach Three mornings, three afternoons, and three evenings with no set programme. The reef is accessible by snorkel or glass-bottomed boat. The beach is walkable for miles in either direction. Deep-sea fishing can be arranged for those who want it. Kite surfing, kayaking, and dhow sunset cruises are available through your property. Or nothing at all, which is equally valid after ten days of early alarms. Chale Island
