This 2 days Akagera national park wildlife safari will offer you the ultimate game drives experience in Akagera national park. The Akagera national park is the only Savannah Park where we can have game drives in the custom made vehicles in Rwanda. The park hosts a number of big mammals with the most sought after being Lions, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Zebras, Elephants, and Hippos, which will provide for great photographic moments.Extras at the accommodation i.e. drinks, telephone, laundry etc.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Transfer to Akagera National Park from Kigali

  We leave for Akagera national park in the morning after your breakfast. The journey to the park is about 2.5 hours depending on the stopovers along the way. On arrival at the park, we shall proceed to our accommodation after a short game drive and check in. After lunch later take a boat trip on Lake Ihema watch Hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores and water birds like the papyrus Gonolek, shoebill stork and African fish eagle.
  
  Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge
• Day 2 : Akagera - Kigali

  After breakfast, you will go for the early morning game drive which will reward you with views of wildlife such as elephants, impala, black-tailed mongoose, hippos, oribi, bushbuck, antelope, zebra, cape eland, giraffe, buffalo, and also primates like the olive baboon, vervet monkey, bush baby. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the late afternoon, drive back to Kigali to be dropped off at your preferred hotel or transferred to the airport in time for departure flight.
