Branded as the Royal Court of Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park offers unparalleled views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africas tallest mountain. The park is home to large herds of elephants as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo and more. Located about a three hour drive from Nairobi, the park provides visually stunning landscapes with game drives, sunrise views of Kilimanjaro and mid range tented accommodation at Kibo Safari Camp. Pick up from Nairobi airport or Nairobi hotel at 7:00am or earlier for a long and easy drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp for lunch and relax before the evening game drive starting from 4:00pm where you can see wildebeest, zebras, lions, hyenas, a variety of antelopes and large herds of elephants set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to camp for dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp. Main destination is Amboseli National Park with meals for the day including lunch and dinner.
Early wake up to view sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro, which offers exceptional photographic light and scenery for breakfast. After breakfast check out with a picnic lunch and enjoy a half day game drive exploring Amboseli National Park, followed by a packed lunch in the park. After the half day game drive leave Amboseli for a long and easy drive back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the airport or your Nairobi hotel in the evening. Meals for the day include breakfast and lunch.
