8DAYS 7NIGHTS MAASAI MARA - LAKE NAKURU N.P – LAKE NAIVASHA - AMBOSELI N.P

Pickup at 7:30am from City Market Nairobi after a safari briefing and depart for Maasai Mara driving north and ascending the Great Rift Valley for scenic views. Stop at Narok town for refueling enroute and arrive at the camp or lodge around 1:30pm. After checking in guests take lunch and freshen up before an introductory evening game viewing drive starting from 3:30pm. The Maasai Mara is famed for its savannah plains, acacia trees and high wildlife density including the Big 5. Overnight at the camp or lodge.

Full day game drives in Maasai Mara starting with early morning breakfast at 6:00am followed by game viewing across savannah grasslands and rolling hills. Expect sightings of large herds of plains game, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and many other species. Picnic bush lunch at the Hippo pools in Mara River and later a Maasai Village visit to learn Maasai culture, dances and traditional skills. Evening relaxation at the camp or lodge, bonfire and overnight stay. Game drives continue morning and evening with return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Continued full day game drives in Maasai Mara with morning and evening drives to maximize wildlife sightings. Activities include early morning game drives, picnic lunches, further wildlife viewing across the reserve and return to camp for dinner. Opportunity for photography and spotting predators hunting or feeding. Return to camp by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at 8:00am and check out from rooms at 8:30am, depart Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a quick stop for lunch enroute. Arrive at the Nakuru hotel in the evening, check in, freshen up and have dinner followed by overnight stay in Nakuru.

Early morning breakfast at 7:00am then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Pay park entrance fees and undertake game drives in this bird lovers paradise known for flamingos and high concentrations of black rhinoceros. Expect sightings of rhinos, buffalos, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, impalas and many bird species. After game drives, proceed to Naivasha for evening transfer, check in, freshen up, dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at 7:00am and check out from rooms at 9:00am proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride towards Crescent Island. Crescent Island offers walking safaris among habituated wildlife, birdwatching and scenic landscapes. Activities on the island include guided nature walks, picnicking, biking, horseback riding and close up game viewing. Later after safari briefing depart for Amboseli National Park via Mombasa Road with a quick stop at Emali Town for snacks lunch and washroom break and arrive at the camp or lodge around 5:30pm for check in, freshen up, dinner and overnight stay.

Full day game drives in Amboseli starting with breakfast at 6:30am and boarding the land cruiser or tour van for morning drives. Amboseli lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and is renowned for large elephant herds and excellent photographic opportunities. Picnic lunch will be taken inside the park with further game drives in the afternoon, checking out of the park around 3:30pm and transfer to the lodge with enroute game viewing. Evening at the lodge for relaxation, dinner at 7:30pm and overnight stay. Bonfire available on request at no extra cost.

Final day in Amboseli with breakfast at 8:00am and check out from the camp or lodge at 9:00am. Conduct morning game drives until 11:30am then check out from the park and drive back to Nairobi with enroute stopovers for health breaks and a self sponsored lunch. Arrive in Nairobi around 4:30pm marking the end of the safari.
